First meeting

"more than likely id become a functional but silent member of humanity... albeit one that follows you everywhere like a lost puppy, until i was told to stay... but id still be quiet and the same as i am, just more smiles, and id actually attempt to talk to people you know..." i said with i grumble from the couch

"I'd be curious to see if that were the case," I said, pouring pancake batter into a pan.

"meh..." i grumbled, rolling back over, happy for some reason, and yawned, relaxing a bit, the smile on my face showing

"..." I looked over at him, his smile plastered to his face. "...hmph," I smiled, sitting at the coffee table where I had my work.

".... do you have a place to stay after this?" i asked awhile later, waking up, looking at the ceiling

I stayed quiet for a moment, realizing I hadnt put much thought into that. "Im...not entirely sure."

".... dont worry, my house has plenty of extra rooms if you need one, im sure you will find one you like... mines paid off, and i have enough cash in my account that they can pull for the insurance and utilities for 7 years..." i said with a grumble, rolling off the couch grogily "and that new low states that if you randomly go missing, that they have to put your stuff into storage until it is determined what happened to you..." i said simply, waundering carefully into the kitchen, looking for my coffee

"They put your stuff in storage if you randomly go missing?"

"new law, that way they dont get in trouble for selling peoples tuff if they got kidnapped... besides, they arent that supid or mean to let people take the stuff of the new lackeys they own... they will keep our homes running for us while we are here..." i said with a yawn

"Well, I guess thats practical. I was sure my mom had sold all my things..."

"illegal, they confinscate everything for a maximum of 3 years until the case is either solved or closed, as there might be hints in it..." i said simply, yawning "but in the event she did, your free to stay with me...."

"Thanks. Nice to know I wont end up homeless with only the clothes on my back when we get out.."

"if that ends up being the case, ill take you shopping... call it a date if you will... ill need some new cloths anyways"

"He, our first date will be shopping for clothes..." I said in a joking manner.

"might take you out to dinner..." i said simply, drinking some water with a look at her over my cup "or a movie, maybe both...."

"...and then go rock climbing, save flamingoes, and call it a day," I teased. "One thing at a time, its not like you'll have a single chance to date me."

"eh, i was just throwing out suggestions, and i never said which date id do what..." i said with a yawn, my eyes lightening up from behind the cup

I laughed. "Sorry, its just the way you put it; it made it sound like you wanted to do everything in one date."

"nah, not my style..." i said with a yawn, taking another sip "whatcha makin?" i asked

"....Pancakes?"

"sorry, i cant see, having put my contacts back in..." i said simply, looking off to the side to hear Jane coming down the stairs

"You wear contacts? Since when?"

"..... i was 12, and i got into a fight... due to how hard the girl punched me, it massed something up in my eyes when she hit them, that i had to get contacts..." i said simply, looking off to the side "it sucks, due to my phobia of having things near my eye, but its better than glasses..."

"...Wow. That sucks. Im just surprised I never noticed the whole time we've been here. When did you take them off?"

"after you fell asleep, i got up and went to take them off.... im really good at being sneaky when i need to be... besides, i thought you could use the sleep..." i said quietly as Jane came around the courner, still slightly upset from last night and i tensed, ready for the fight if it came
