First meeting

"...Arent we already putting up with her crazy crap?"

"this is nothing... she beat the crap out of a cheer leader because she was getting to close to 'her man'... i got pissed, told her to knock it off, and when that didnt happen, i left, got my GED, and then went to college to graduate at the top of my class for my bachlors after 2 years......"

"...Well this is just great," I said, throwing myself onto the couch and lying on it. "Then I guess we have to hurry to get out of here and as far away from her as possible."

"trust me... ill murder her if she even lays a finger on you...." i said with a weak smile as i yawned "so, how much longer on that blueprint so we can put it togeather and get outta here?"

I frowned. "Its very slow work, I dont know how long itll take..."

"HEY! when are those lights coming back on?! its taking forever because its hard to see!" i said with a sigh, a strange note in my voice as i did so, looking off to the side

"We had to order a new generator! Shut up and work with whats working!"

"...He sounds pissed," I commented.

"my bet is that boss lady told him he cant touch you... because i have a feeling, from what i can see and understand of those blueprints... its going to need a hack in order to get into the hard disk software in order to allow access to whatever its supposed to do... thats my job... and she knows that if i have ANY inkling of something happening to you, or it, whom is sleeping, i can totally fuck them... one added Zero to a system file, and everything drops like domino's..."

"Amazing how a zero can throw off everything. By the way, did I already tell you this things looks like it has a giant fan?"

"probobly for the cooling... my guess is that it takes up so much heat that it has to do that... why it doesnt do a water coolant system confuses me though..." i said with a nod "but to awnser you, no you didnt..."

"...Maybe in case of lack of water?" I suggested.

"... would still reduce costs and size... look at the timestamp though... these are from some time ago... my guess is the blueprints were made awhile ago, and we just recently had the tech to make this"

"...Apple plagerized it?" I suggested, since that seemed reasonable.

"highly possible... term your looking for is stole though..." i said with a yawn, and closed my eyes, leaning back "i miss my bed, and my cat.... good thing my neihbors look after her while im gone..."

"I miss NOT being a slave for these people." I ran my hands through my hair. "I really just want to get this all over with."

"join the club sister... but at the same time, that means our boy cant run away..." a voice said frum behind and i groaned as i already knew it was the nurse "damnit Jane, why cant you just stay asleep? you know how i feel about being claimed if it isnt mutual..." i sighed, massaging my temples

"Holy-! You dont sneak up on stressed people!" I snapped.

".... its about time for dinner..." i said with a slight grunt as i got up, heading to the kitchen....

"soooo... how you doing?" Jane asked with a tone that was ment for 2 questions at once as soon as i was out of earshot

"Im doing average, thankyou," I answered flatly, going over my work, not paying much mind to her.

"you know what i ment... stop avoiding the subject... im not stupid you know... he sits next to you but cant tolerate me 3 feet near him..." she said tiredly

I shrugged. "Try and guess why he wouldn't want to be near you, there must be some reason." Even though I was aware of her antics, I acted clueless.

".... your not stupid... you wouldnt be here working with him without a reason... i find it strange that he conveniently got an injury when he wanted to learn about the language to help you..." Jane said, idirectly accuseing him

"...He's not clumsy. He slipped after I spilled water on the floor and the lights were out," I said, defending him in a rather stoic manner.

"god.... your impossible to cause to freak out..." she sighed irritably "at least then i could see what makes you tick, and learn hwo you hooked him"

"You like objectifying people, dont you? Just to be clear: Im not a clock, and he's not a fish. Enjoy the rest of your day," I said sarcastically, smiling in false kindness before heading to the kitchen. For some reason I think I was going to have fun just not giving in to her; plus I had nothing to worry about, since I knew he didnt like her at all.
