First meeting

"Um...We worked on stuff online together. Then we got kidnapped after meeting in person. And we've pretty much just been here...I guess he got used to me, since we were the only ones physically in this room..."

"..... im going to bed...." i said, curling up on my couch with a tired look on my face

"Sleep tight," I said, before going back to eating.

"but... i wanted to talk to him..." she said quietly, and my body tensed for a moment, and released, as i ignored her, covering myself with the shirt as i could find any second blankets for me to use

"Well, he wanted to sleep," I answered briskly, drinking some water, "It would be rude to not let him rest."

".... really wish that he hadnt just up and walked out of school.,... did it right before prom as well..." she said with a grumble, looking off to the side at the wall, picking at her food "and honestly, i dont get why he doesnt want to talk at all... i was alot like you at first, totally ignored him... but then he thought it was an act and got up and walked out of class..."

"What a surprise," I said when she mentioned him dropping out when he did. "And im not ignoring him. Im just not all over him, flirting with him every chance I get."Not like he can really walk out of here either...

".... so you do like him..." she said with a smirk, leaning on the table "i can tell how you play cat and mouse with my questions... im surprised he hasnt noticed it yet..."

I glared at her slightly. "What are you getting so hyped about? Do you even know what 'like' means? It means its something you dont hate. And he hasnt done anything to make me hate him." I couldn't help but continue evading the subject. I guess I worried she would use my emotions to her advantage. I could normally keep a cool head, even though right now, I supposed my feelings made me edgy. But...would this girl be here 24/7 as well? "I have to get to work," I said, standing up.

".... fine, be that way... but if you dont make a move sometime, i will..." she said, walking off to the bedroom, and i turned over, fast asleep as i sprawled out on the large couch with a slight snore, mumbling incoherantly

I felt so tempted to say, 'he will shove you off in disgust,' but a little itty part of me believed otherwise. Who knew how much longer this would take, by then he could change his mind. She seemed quite determined, who knew if he would eventually cave in. A worrying thought- grrr, my feelings are running rampant! What if in the end he's like the rest? Putting up a facade and such to lure me?...I guess...if im so worried...I downright skipped like and headed into the love part of this 'relationship'...and haven't said anything. Ive unwillingly hinted it, but like him, didn't say it directly. Damn you life. I decided to work on translating instead of worrying about how the hell I was going to deal with my new problem.

".... Rei...." i mumbled, turning over and smiled lightly, snuggling into my pillow, a rare expression on my face, yawning as well

I looked at him when he muttered my name, and sighed again. He doesn't seem to be able to keep things to himself... Then went back to translating.

"....." awhile later i yawned, sitting up to look around and went to get a drink, really drowsy

I looked up from my work. "Feeling better?" I asked him.

"i feel like i got hit by a train and lost the world championship boxing match..." i groaned, drinking a large amount of water "how about you?" i asked

"...Average, since ive been translating and such."

"hows the bit... nurse...." i said, stoping and correcting myself with a sigh, taking a deep breath

I chuckled lightly. "I think shes scheming. Cmon, dont be so hard on her, shes a bit annoying but a little nice...somewhere..."

".... i liked it when it was just us alot better.... like you alot more as well... damn bitch always had a crush on me, to stupid to figure out that i didnt like her... i wont go easy on her, because she is one of the girls who gave me crap for my silence and hair color, yet still expects me to like her back when she tried to dye my hair brown..."

I blushed faintly, and giggled. "So she is scheming. But why brown? It doesn't look like it would suit you...how did she try to dye your hair?" I, for some reason, imagined her grabbing a posse of girls to tie him to a chair, then him breaking free, breaking bones even though they were girls, and breaking down doors in violent rampage. I suddenly started laughing at my own wild imagination. "Please...explain..."

"i was asleep in math class, she snuck up on me, hopeing that if she got enough dyed, id go with it.... ask her to show the wound that ensued... as for brown, must be a prefferance thing"

"So she did manage to get some dyed?"

"..... base of my neck, but i fixed it...." i said with a yawn, looking of to the side

I sighed. "Kinda makes you wonder what goes on in their heads. Is she exactly the same since then?"
