Takeru glanced over at Gin. "Was that a small child in her arms?" he asked. "Yeah its a long story but we adopted a cute little girl." Gin said. "I should start going to these cons with you. I find it amazing how you leave home and surprisingly return with a little girl." Takeru said jokingly

"his fault.... she said something to him... he has a weakness for girls, and I have a weakness for him... but no puppies..... or kittens.." i yawned, heading to the kitchen to get some milk

Takeru chuckled lightly as he looked at her. Gintoki went over to Kaylee and kissed her. "I love you so much"

"like you have a choice with my looks in that part of the equation..." i smiled, turning around and hugging him with a red face

Gintoki wraps his arms around Kaylee. "You are seriously the only girl for me. Now I have two number one girls in my life." he said happily

"number one girl, and number one daughter, get it right silly...." i smiled, tugging him to the bedroom

Gintoki smiled as he looked at her. He follows Kaylee into the bedroom. "She looks like a little angel. I'm so glad we adopted her. You're going to be a great mother for her. Plus I'll be the awesome father." he said happily.

"long as you dont spoil her... we need to figure out what she needs and her medical history will be emailed over tomorrow, so we also need to make sure shes up to date on vacinations... but until then, your all mine..." i said, laying down on the bed, waiting for him to join me

"Oh sounding motherly already. I can't help but wanna spoil her. Though I will try my best not to." he said laying with Kaylee.

"i cant help it... shes so like me, its like shes my mini me..." i said with a sigh, laying on top of him now

"That would explain why I can't take my eyes off of either if you. You both are just simply perfect." he says kissing Kaylee sweetly.

".... hey, she may be your new daughter, but im still your girlfriend, as such, i feel im more important..." i smiled teasingly

"You will always be at the top of my list. Don't you worry my sweet." Gintoki says softly as he looked at her. He then closes his eyes to sleep

"darn right..." i smiled, nuzzling into his chest. a few hours later, my head shot up off his chest and i almost screamed, and i covered my mouth, starting to cry, and i didnt know why

Gintoki was asleep only for a moment. The sudden startle he got from Kaylee alerted him. He sat up and embraced her. "What happened?! Are you okay?!" he asked frantic

"i-i had a n-nightmare i think.... i-i dont r-remember it... it was realy bad though..." i said in between sobs, and latched onto him, my grip tight as i cried quietly into his shoulder

Gintoki holds her close and rocks he gently. "It's okay darling. I'm right here with you and I won't leave." he said

"....." i nodded, and slowly calmed down enough to release him, and sniffled, getting up to go get a glass of water

Gintoki was seriously worried but he wasn't sure what had just happened. He had never seen that reaction before. He knew he'd have to talk with John in the morning.

"....." i groaned and rolled out of bed at a small knocking at our door and i looked down and Melanie hugged my leg "mornin Kaylee!" she yawned happily, and i smiled lightly, picking her up and pokeing her nose, trying to forget about last night "morning to you... say, what you wanna make for breakfast?" i asked, and she smiled wide "pancakes and eggs and bacon!" she giggled, and i nodded, setting her down "ill go get everything ready for you to help, go wake up Gin for me please..." i said with my smile still in place as she darted between my legs to the bed and crawled on top of the bed with a little bit of problems, and gentally shook him "papa, wake up!"

Gintoki watched Kaylee get out of bed. He wasn't sure what just happened. He lays back in the bed trying to piece together what happened. In is head. Though his thinking cut short as he was called 'papa'. That made his day right there gin smiled as he sits up and hugs her. "Good morning sweetheart."

"come on, get up! momma is makin pancakes and eggs and bacon!" she said excitedly, bouncing up and down on my side of the bed, and shook him "i want you to see me help her cook!"

Gintoki looked at her as he sat up fully. He picked Mel up into his arms. "Come on then. Lets get you a cute little apron to match mommy's." he said as he walked into the kitchen. He saw an apron already for her. He knew Takeru had done this in his spare time. His brother was handy in those skills.

"so, hows my mini me doing!" i smiled, watching her struggle to pull up a chair as i held a bowl and a whisk, beating the batter roughly

Gin watched the two with a smile. He was glad to see Kaylee so happy. This was definitely the perfect moment.
