Polar opposite

"I see well I wish you both luck on that!" I smile looking at her thoughtfully. "But whose party is it, if I may ask?"

"...In truth, Im not sure. It was some sort of fancy party, but the guests have quite a sweet tooth. Hence all the desserts."

"Hm, now that I think about it, it might be one of those that one of my friend is helding. Probably a sweet sugary party I suppose..." I said and look out the door.

"Maybe. But I have my work cut out for me..." I sighed.

I tilt my head a bit as I heard her. "I see. Are you looking for another job?" I ask her curiously noticing that she had paid for the things that are being bag up by Alex and Anthony.

"Maybe. I'll be a bit tired after this, though..." I sighed again.

"Don't worry too much about it. Besides, didn't you say that you're going to college very soon? Well after summer break when school's over an all?" I ask and walk ahead to where the twins are.

"Maybe, if the financial aid papers get through. I dont exactly earn enough to cover expenses. I have an appointment to meet some independent group thats willing to pay off all college expenses; I cant miss the meeting." I said, grabbing some of the bags.

"I see but have you look deep into the independent group? I mean what happens if its a fraudulent?" I ask grabbing the rest of the bags.

"Nah, its safe. They showed up at a college fair at school, so its legit."

"As long as its fine then its good.." I smile and walk out of the store with the three of them.

I smiled back. Then something popped up in my mind. "So, youre going to go into show biz?" I asked.

As I walk along with the other I turn to face her, "Yes. I think its a good start for me..." I told her.

"So how are you going to start out?" I asked.

"Now that you mention it probably acting then singing. Later modeling I suppose..." I told her while still holding onto the bags.

My brothers and I had the same reaction when he mentioned modeling:"Pfffffft-"

I stare at them oddly "You guys are thinking about something weird again.." I said looking at them.

"...Well, you said you were gonna do modeling..." Anthony couldn't quite finish his sentence. We were in hysterics.

"Whats wrong with modeling?" I ask and sigh softly. "Never mind. Geez never see you three act this way before?" I laugh and came to a stop at the lights.

"Because you never mentioned modeling?" Alex managed to say. Soon, the laughter died down. "We weren't making fun of you, thats just our reaction to certain things..." I explained, a smug little smile on my face.

"I see. Well it was just a thought though but I might end up doing that after acting and singing..." I smile upon hearing Miki and the twins.

"Pff- OW!" Anthony was about to start laughing again, but was elbowed in the stomach by Alex. I rolled my eyes.

When the lights had turn green and a person was flashing, I walk abead of them. "So anything new lately?" I ask.

"Not really. Aside from the fact I got awesomely taller-" Anthony stopped to slip a quick smirk to Alex,"-Nothings really changed. Or been incredibly interesting. Its a bit boring-Ah!" Anthony tripped over nothing, falling on the flour and sugar.

"Aside from you falling just about everywhere? That spices things up," Alex teased. Anthony glared. "Come on, you two, start picking up stuff..." I said, setting my bags down to pick up what he had dropped.

I stare at the twins when I saw Anthony tripping over nothing and onto the ground he goes. After seeing that, I knelt down and set the bags down before helping Miki. When I did so, my hand reached over to get the sugar and accidentally touch her by the hand. "Ah, sorry..." I said and put the stuff back into the bag before getting up.
