Polar opposite

Smiling when I heard what Anthony had said about Miki, my heart skip a beat. Eying her as I saw her twitching, I softly smile while waiting for Alex.

I wanted to hold someone's hand, so I reached out, opening and closing my hand, grabbing air, hoping they got the message.

As I sat, I watch her reaching out for a hand. Without any hesitation, I reach and grabbed a hold her soft cold hand. Holding onto her hand I smile as I waited.

As soon as someone took my hand, I realized it wasnt my brothers hand. Either way, it was comforting, and I gently squeezed his hand.

Smiling I felt her hand squeezing mine as I saw that she had calmed herself down. 'I'll come see you everyday until you recover. Once you've recover, I'll leave and just be your shadow from a distance...' I thought when I watch her from beside.

"Heeeeyy, Its been awhile...Yata!" Lissa announced, her voice kinda making me jump. '...So this is his hand...' All I did was tighten my grip on it.

I yawn slightly when I immediately jump as I heard my name. Turning to see who it was I sigh, "You're so loud!" I said looking at her.

"Im not loud at all!...So how is she?"

"You are loud." I stated then smile, "She's doing fine its just that she can't talk yet since she's covered up. However she can hear you..." I told her.

"...Im sorry I had a job today! This wouldn't have happened if I hadnt gotten that job!" Lissa fell to her knees, face smashed into my bed sheets, muffled sobs slightly moving the bed. I let go on Yata's hand and started petting Lissa's head.

I softly sigh when I saw her. Standing up from where I sat I finally said, "It wasn't your fault so dont cry..."

Lissa kept crying. I wanted to tell her myself it was okay, but I couldn't. She soon managed to compose herself. "I wonder...how long...she has to be like this..."
Three weeks later...
I stared out the window. Just minutes ago they had removed the bandages from my face, though they still had some smaller areas of my face and upper body covered; the parts that hadnt healed completely. It was still a bit more time before visiting hours began. I had those wierd shades doctors provided whenever they did an eye exam, since it would take a while for my eyes to adjust to light I hadn't seen for weeks. It felt so strange. I walked around in the room for a while, since it was the first time I had seen it.

It had been already three weeks since the accident had happen. My job was going well and I did my best to visit Miki everyday. Knowing this, I just hope that my job end quickly so that I could go see her. It has only been a few minutes when I got off of work. I quickly rush out and made my way over to the hospital. By the time I got there, visiting hours had already open. Smiling, I bought some flowers and a Get Well card as I made my way over to her room. Once I got there, I open up the door to find Miki looking out the window.

"Miki?" I call while my eyes gazes at her from where I stood. "Are you alright?" I ask.

I jumped, turning in midair. "Oh! Hi!...Im alright, just getting used to seeing again..." I said, smiling.

"Ah I see. Um, how are your eyes doing? I mean, are you able to see them well?" I ask wondering. Somehow my curiousity had taken over me but I shook them away. "Anyways, I've brought you some flowers..." I smile making my way over to her.

"Ah! Thank you!" I said, taking the flowers gently. "My eyes are fine. It hurts a little to see, but I think its because they were in total darkness for so long..."

"You're welcome and I see. It must be tough to not see for a good three weeks then huh?" I said as I made my way over to the window. "It'll heal, so don't worry..." I told her.

"Guess your right. It feels strange, not being able to see for so long... Well, they're sending me home...I still have to rest though. Are you going to visit me at my house too?"

I glance back at her when I heard her. "They're releasing you already? Why so soon?" I ask that is until I heard her. "Visit you at your place? Would you like me to be there? I mean, I don't want to intrude since I've said some rude things to your mother when you had your accident..." I quietly said but still manage to let the other hear me.

"Well, I guess they decided to have me finish recovering in my house. Its fine if you come over, my mom is typically working, anyway," I said.

"I see. Very well then, I'll come visit you as often as I can before my work schedule becomes busy..." I told her knowing that being a model does take its toll on me.

I smiled, then sat down on my bed. "I cant believe I had to get hit by a window to realize he wasnt the person for me..." I sighed.

When I saw her sitting down as she talk about what had happen, I grew silent. "We all make mistakes. Even I have done that when I was little so do not worry..." I told her assuring her that I in fact had been there. "But you know, I'm glad that you're alive and as for Nathan, just dont think about him anymore, it'll hurt you if you do..."

I sighed. "I guess youre right."

"Now then, since you're going to be discharge soon, what would you like to go do today?" I ask. "I mean I am free now since I'm done with my job.." I told her.
