Polar opposite

"Okay."

As I walk the twins home, I looked around from side to side until we came upon their house. "I'll just drop you guys off here in the front of the gates.." I said and nodded as I saw them walking to their door.

"..." I could see my brothers and Yata arrive. I was still curled up, just by the window. My two brothers then went to the back gate to make it up to my room.

Looking at the window, I turned away and had held my board over my shoulder. Wincing lightly, I popped another pain killer into my mouth and was just about to head home my phone starts going off. Looking at it I noticed that it was Luna. Before I started to walk I picked up the phone and began talking in front of Miki's house. As I stood there, I heard her and sigh, 'Sure we'll go...' I said when she stated that I should bring Miki and her boyfriend along too. Without a doubt I walked and decided that I should text her later on.

"..." I stared at Yata, wondering who he was talking to. I mean, I couldn't hear him.

"Miki! Feeling any better?" Alex asked.

"..."

"He already told us about yesterday." Anthony added.

I turned beet red. "...!" and looked away.

"Well...he was close." Anthony noted to himself.
(...I dont want to sound rude, but you should try checking that you write mainly in past tense, since youre kinda...well it just makes more sense to me, I have a hard time if past and present are mixed.)

(Ah I apologize...Been very tire lately...I'll do my best on it not very good with those things....Geez hate english )

When I got home, I took a look at my phone. Debating whether I should text her or not, I decided to text her anyways. 'Hey my girlfriend wants to know if you're free on Saturday. If so, she wants us to go on a double date. Text me back...' And with that, I waited.

As soon as I received the text, I felt overwhelmed by confusion. 'I thought...' I shook my head, and I finally decided to text him back. 'I have to text Nathan first...'

(Nope! English is actually my second language even though I'm born here in the US)

Upon recieving the text I glance at it as I nodded my head. Then I text her back, 'That's fine...'

I soon texted him back. 'He's fine with that, when do we meet up?'
(Whats your first language, then?)

(Hmong, but I dont know how to read or write in it. It's hard...But I do sound it out though...lol what about you? Mind if I ask?)

Receiving the text once more, I read it thoroughly. Nodding my head, I texted her one last time. '11am in the morning. Meet us up at the amusement park...'

(spanish. You should learn to read it and write it, then you can boast you're billingual. And show it off like a boss XD)
'Okay.'

A week had already passed by when I noticed that it was Saturday already. My shoulder had healed and it was time for me to get ready to go to the amusement park. Picking up my phone, I headed out the door and found Luna waiting for me in front of my house. "You're here early?" I ask. Luna shrug when she came up to me and hugged me. "You're very handsome today, Yata!" She said in delight and took me by the hands leading me to the amusement park.

(Im sure its hard, but if you give it tons of effort, im sure you can do it! My sister is learning hindi, shes been learning for like 3 years and could probably hold a brief conversation with someone-but she gives crazy effort. Yay for crazy effort! ...Well, after this post im off to...well im already in bed, i'll just go to sleep XD)
Nathan and I waited at the amusement park, since we had eaten brunch at a nearby restaurant. Nathan didn't seem bothered at all by the fact we were double dating with Yata and Luna.

(lol nah, my parents never really taught us how to read or write it but we do know how to speak it...Yes that's fine. I was like dozing off too )

By the time we got there, I noticed Miki and Nathan there. Sighing as I follow after Luna, I stood right next to her when we approached the two. "Hey you two!" Luna smiled gleefully as I watch her. All I did was wave, without saying a word as we both sat down next to them. "So which ride would you guys like to go on?" she ask wondering which ride the two would take.

"We were going to let you guys pick first." Nathan said.

Luna glance over to me when I saw the look on her face, "How about the drop shot?" She ask when she pointed to the ride.

Nathan and I exchanged glances. "Okay."

I look at Luna then to the other two. "Shall we head there then?" Luna smile taking my hand again when she took me to the drop shot.

Nathan held my hand and we followed them.
One hour of waiting in line later....
It was finally our turn to ride. After we were strapped in, Nathan seemed to have lost all emotion. "You know...you couldve waited for us..." I said, concerned.

"..."

"Luna we've been waiting for an hour for this ride. Why can't we choose a ride that's shorter?" I said as I look at her then sigh noticing that she seem to have ignore my question.

As soon as the ride started, I couldve sworn Nathan's soul left his body; the only proof of life was that he was breathing.

While being on the ride, I glance over to Miki and her boyfriend. I noticed the look on her face as I study her. A moment later, we were on the top, then the next, we were down as I heard Luna screaming her lungs out. When the ride was over, I waited for Luna and the others to get off the ride. "Um, where to next?" I ask not enjoying this day at all but manage anyways.

I think I screamed 4 times before the ride stopped, while Nathan yelled an uninterrupted "SSHHHHHHHHIIIIIII-"

"Yeah, where to next?" I asked.

"How about I just sit on this bench..." Nathan staggered to it.

"But there are so many more rides..."

"Uuuugh..."

Luna giggle as I watch her. Her eyes seem glittery in a way as if excitement was about to occur. Turning my attention over to Nathan and Miki, I glance over to one of the rides, "How about that one?" I ask pointing to the scary ride that takes you up on a high hill.

"UUUUUGGHH..."

"I'll go." I volunteered.
