First meeting

"Captain, if you would?" i asked and she yawned "i fought pirates and won, the end... you, new girl, your turn!" she said with a grin, and i chuckled a bit myself

"Cheating the story thing much?" I asked, grinning.

"im the captain, i can do whatevewr the hell i want!" she laughed, a rare occurance indeed as i nodded at her "sir? your turn..." the captain said, turning to the man who had been thinking deeply for some time "sorry... dont know any stories, unless you can count living here..." he said with a weak smile, his face evidently tired as his daughter piped up and began to weave a complex story involving a cat, a dog, and a toad

I munched idly on my food, taking note of his rather tired being at the moment. Maybe getting a room would be a better place to set some things straight...heh, straight. Ack! Knows not the time to be messin with silly thoughts! Gotta thing seriously...man, this stuff is good.

"you alright? you seem a little off kilter right now..." i said in a hushed voice to her, noting the plesant smile on her face

"Ill tell you about it later," I answered softly.

".... alright then..." i nodded, my previous emotional freedom now restricted a bit

"So, do you still plan to stay at a hotel?" I asked, as I started putting out the fire when the Captain noted how late it was and we should probably call it a night.

"if your willing to let me..." i said with a small smile

I covered my smile. "A yes or no would have sufficed, or else it sounds like youre implying something..."

"you know as well as i do that the only on who would be able to do sucha thing would be you..." i smiled, poking her cheek

"I know, but im sure anyone who overhears our conversation probably wouldnt, so keep that in mind," I smirked, skipping away.

"..... ill see you all later at the ship..." i said over my shoulder, ignoreing the captain and my possible sister giggling about how red my face was, and followed after her, and took her hand with a grunt, turning my face to the side as we walked "...did you get enough to eat?"

"Hm? Yeah, of course I did. Why?" I asked, a little surprised at the question.

"just wondering if i needed to take you to dinner, as we had someone intrude on our date...." i said simply, rubbing my neck with my free hand as i looked at her

"...Oh. I shouldnt have eaten so much if that was your intention, then," I said, embarrassed. "Maybe some other day."

"we could always do it tomorrow...." i smiled, ignoreing the hollars of the captain after us

"Tch, we cant leave until tomorrow!" I said, glancing back. "Why is she nagging?"

"shes saying good luck boy, your gonna need it with her...." i said with a red face, walking a bit faster

"Pretty useful advice...you know, if you could use it." I pinched his cheek. "No need to really fluster now, silly. Even though making you a tomato is easier than breathing..."

"even if things did get that far, i would be outclassed the moment things started...." i said simply, looking down at my wrist for the directions

"Outclassed? By what?"

"your advancements on me to make me turn red..." i said simply, turning a bit red as i flashed back to when we had first gotten here and she had flashed me

"Oh yeah...then you would need luck..."

"indeed..." i said simply, walking towards a nice hotel that looked casual, and walked with her into the lobby
