First meeting

"you can have him, i can tell he is the shy type... besides, we look to much like siblings! i mean, i know i have a brother out there somewhere, but we had to leave him behind on our original planet cause daddy thought it would be good for someone in our family to be left behind in case something happened..." she said, and i froze, pulling my hand back quickly and muttered that i had to go to the bathroom as i darted away, muttering words to myself

"...I dont think thats quite coincidence anymore," I said, standing up and following him. "Ill be right back..."

"....." i grunted and sat down on the edge of the bridge i had run to, letting my feat dangle over the water and sighed deeply ".... even the water here is different..." i mumbled, folding my arms to lay my head down on the rope in front of me "and that girl... there is no way she could be my sister.... i was told she died in a car crash with my old man... and mom never stayed, she dropped me off on a street courner...." i said irritably, stareing at the ground

"Regardless of where we are, I dont think this is the public restroom..." I said, as I caught up, plopping down next to him. "Coincidence or not, you cant run away from everything."

"..... you have a family yes? granted, they dont aknowlage you as they should, but you have one... i didnt... if it turns out that my old man and sister are alive, and left me behind on a whim, how do you think that makes me feel? that i wasnt special enough to go with them?" i said quietly, my fists clenched "i grew up alone, and instead of being a happy normal kid, i turned into someone that... i regret being sometimes... the reason i didnt socialize with humanity back then... every time i started a relationship, they would always cheat, or break up within a month, and tell me that i was unloveable, and that i was a freak... you know who is there for other guys when they go through a breakup? friends or family, and i didnt have the fortune of either...."

I listened very quietly, unable to answer immediately. It was something hard to answer. How...what do I say?

".... sorr... sorry.... im just... emotional, because what she said might actually be true... i dont deserve t have my burdens shoved on you"

"Dont see now that would be shoving your burden onto me. I think the only way that could happen would be if you ran off once I get pregnant or something along those lines. I dont really know what to do, aside from going back and asking, but you know, sometimes we gotta do something we dont like if the pros outweigh the cons..."

".... you handle the talking, ill message the captain, but for now, i need to think.... tell her... that im thinking of how to upgrade the ship..." i said simply, hugging her tightly, and relaxed my hold on her ".... ill try not to be to emotional...."

"...So, we both gonna confront your may be sister? Since I think its priority?"

"no, im just going to think it through and inform the captain of the situation.... ill be a bit quieter for awhile until i can sort things out, but ill do my best to put it on hold while we have a date...." i said simply, tugging her sleeve with a slight smile "im a guy, im sure i can forget something like this easily...."

I sighed. "Well, at least youll come around to it. Back to the date- can we go swimming now?"

".... we gotta tell her its alright... to go get her stuff, then we can, alright?" i smiled, setting my hand on her shoulder "you head on over to the water, ill join you after i let her know"

"Hooray!" I dashed off, looking back briefly. "Dont take too long!"

"...." i nodded and went back to find her waiting dejectedly in my seat as i spoke up "... get your stuff ready, captain says i get to train you...." i said simply, folding my arms as i looked at her "all i have in the ways of rules are dont mess with unbroken things, and dont fix it unless you have my permission to do freelance repairs, and do what i say when i say to..." i said, and she brightened up, nodding as she bolted up and gave me a hug, thanking me, and i got bright red, unsure of how to respond as she released and began jogging home to gather her things

The sand felt nice, and clean. And hot. I ended up walking through the wet sand, trying to cool off my burned soles. The waves crashing into me felt nice though, it had been such a long time ever since I had been near open water...

"...." i sighed and walked back to the beach, heading straight for her, a bottle of sunscreen in my hand "hold it, lets get you covered... and i need it more, else you want to deal with a irritable boyfriend..."

"But im fine..." I whined. "Its not going to stick anyways, im too wet. Itll just wash off..."

"you underestimate the powers of the new world... it says it works even while wet..." i said, puffing it into the air "come on, ill spray you down, then you can do a double spray on me..." i said, and raised an eyebrow as i looked her up and down, and sighed "... god, its gonna be awhile before i can do that without feeling guilty..."

"Or making it too obvious," I sighed, extending my arms. "Quick, because I want to play in the water again."

"least im not drooling like a pig over you..." i smiled, spraying her down, and went around her continueing it

"...I didnt know pigs could drool..."

"i mean, at least im not having sick thoughts, and all i do is notice how nice you look..." i said simply, rolling my eyes with a laugh as i hadned her the bottle, taking off my shirt so she could spray me down

"I do look nice. You look great too," I smiled, spraying him down.

"id have to in order to keep a girl like you..." i said with a laugh, pulling her into a hug
