Polar opposite

"...So, doc, whats the update?" Alex asked.

"Well, so far there are no reported complications. The chance of her being blind is smaller, but still there." He said.

"I'm glad..." I said looking over to Alex then back to the doctor. "When will the surgery be over?"

"Its a very delicate surgery. Another hour, at most. Yet she may not be conscious for a while."

"I see...Well then I suppose we'll have to wait Alex and lets go see if Anthony had calmed down yet. Knowing him he's pissed off more than me..." I mutter while thanking the doctor before leaving.

"Yeah, lets go check on him," Alex nodded.

As we walk, I thought a lot about the possible situation that Miki was in. Sighing a bit, I came to a stop in front of the receptionist desk and ask a lady there. When the lady had answer my question to where they had held Anthony I thank her and left. "She says that he's in that room.." I said pointing to the room that was down the hall from us. "Lets go there..."

After arriving to Anthony's room, Alex said," I think I should me surprised that youre strapped to the bed, but not really..." Anthony scoffed. "How's Miki? Do you know yet?"

When we got there I glance over to Anthony and said "She's still in surgery. They said that she might have a small chance of going blind..."

"...Damn..." Anthony tried to move. "...They better unstrap me as soon as she can get visitors..."

Looking at him I lightly laugh when I reply "That's only if you're on your best behavior not like earlier. If you had restrain yourself from hitting him aimlessly you wouldnt be in this mess..." I told him and sat down on an empty chair.

Anthony frowned. "Well, someone had to hit him."

"You could of waited. I mean, I would of done it so that you wouldn't be trouble. I didn't know that you had that side in you..." I slightly laugh a bit but turn serious. "Anyways, when the hour is over, we'll go see her.." I said.

"Kinda came with the growth spurt..." Anthony laughed. "But...we have to wait..."
one hour later
"...and I promise to be on my best behavior." Anthony reassured the nurse, who was unstrapping him. "Please, follow me," The nurse said, as she left the room.

When the hour came to past, I waited for the nurse and Anthony to finish up. Once they did, I followed after the nurse knowing that I was anxious to see her. 'I hope she's fine...' I thought.

"...She looks like a mummy..." Anthony muttered. My face was covered up, and it felt like part of my upper body was covered up too. I turned by head when I heard his voice. "Well...I guess youre okay..." Alex sighed, relieved.

When we enter through the door, I caught sight of her being wrapped up after the surgery. As I waited, I saw her turning her attention over to Anthony and Alex and let out a soft sigh. Turning my attention over to the twins I whisper into their ears, "Don't tell her that I'm here. If she knows, she might not want me to be here..." I said as I look at them.

They glanced at eachother before complying to Yata's request. "Um, sis, if you can hear us, move your hand," Alex said softly. I twitched my fingers. "Are you feeling okay?Move your hand if you feel okay." I twitched them again.

I glance back at Miki and noticed that she seem to be twitching. Turning my attention back to the twins I whisper once more, "She's twitching so meaning she can hear you..." I said as I look at them then back to Miki.

"You want us to ask anything for you?" Alex whispered.

Thinking for a minute I told them "No. I'll just sit and watch her before I leave tomorrow for work. I might want to spend the night here just to keep an eye out for her.." I said.

"And you can keep Nathan away." Alex added.

"Yeah," I said as I look at them and made my way to sit down next to her that had an empty seat by it.

"Speaking of...sis, do you want Nathan here? move your hand if you do." Anthony asked.
No movement.
"Make sure he doesnt get anywhere near here. Im calling Lissa again." Alex said, stepping out.

When Anthony had ask about Nathan, I glance over to him then to Miki. Thinking for a minute I caught sight of Alex heading out the door. Sighing softly I turn to face her and stares at her for a while before looking away.

"Hey, sis...as soon as you can talk you will, right?" Anthony asked. I twitched my hand. I felt happy he was here. And that I wasnt alone.
