First meeting

"you will learn in time... you gotta wait for me to tell you that as punishment for that heart attack earlier..." i said with a slightly red face, and looked away as i threw on some shoes "come on we are gonna be late if weehorse aound anny more...." i said with a grunt, trying to hide my expression

"Awww, no fair, I wanna know!" I said, tugging at his arm as we walked out.

"ill tell you after i make dinner for the crew, alright?" i said, sighing as i looked at her "its a subject i dont want to talk about in front of others..." i smiled lightly, throwing my arm around her shoulders

"Deal!" I said, smiling as he threw his arm around my shoulders. "So what are we gonna eat?"

"i was thinking we show them how to make some decent steak taco's, i ordered a few things while you were getting cloths.... apparently they have cow's, even here!" i said with a excited smile, rubbing her shoulder lightly "i bet warning and the captain havnt had something like that before...."

"Yay, ¡asada! Never thought id be getting to eat that ever again!" I said, clearly very excited.

"in english please?" i asked curiously, not sure what the word had ment

"Pretty much the term for cooked steak meat. Though it does imply it was grilled... whenever my family made it, or when we bought it at a restaurant, it was often made on an iron skillet, or on those stoves they use and hamburger restaurants..."

"ahhhh, well, im glad your excited..." i laughed, turning the courner and heading for the mess hall

I merely grinned, wondering if the others had ever eaten tacos, considering they did have the ingredients avaliable.

".... your face is really cute when you smile like that..." i said with a laugh, kissing her on the lips as we walked, and i tugged her towards the kitchen while people started showing up to chat before food was ready

"Your face is really cute when its flustered," I giggled after the kiss.

"but of course, i have to keep you interested somehow..." i smiled lightly letting go of her hand to start getting things out "come on, help me out, it will go faster, and we can talk more as we do, ill focus on steak, you focus on getting everything else ready?" i said, asking if thats how she wanted to do it

"Of course! Um..." I started looking for green peppers and tomato to start making sauce, as well as onion as sides. "I wonder if they have an iron skillet here..."

"top shelf, third cupboard on the left..." i said, pointing to it as i began slicing up the raw meat

"Might wanna cover your face, spicy stuff roasting can make you cough like crazy, especially when youre not used to it," I said, at I turned on the stove and waited for the skillet to heat up.

"....." i nodded and pulled up my shirt to cover my mouth and nose as i kept slicing the meat into squares and chunks

I put the peppers and some tomatoes on the skillet and let them roast as I began dicing some other tomatoes and an onion. " Oh, I just cant wait till this is all ready...."

"make sure you make enough, i plan on having several, as im sure the rest of the crew will as well..." i smiled, having a fairly large pile of meat already, and began cooking it with a smile, hearing the intereaction of the crew outside. "5 to 1 on bets that they will end up being shocked about it..." i laughed

"Hmm, seems real tempting," I smiled as I put the roasted peppers and tomatoes in a blender. "But it seems pointless to bet on an expected event."

"alright, good point..." i said with a laugh, focusing on the steak as it cooked now

I stirred the steaming, blended sauce in a bowl, poured some salt into it, and tasted it. "...Is this salty enough?" I hope you dont mind spicy...

"...." i took a large spoon full and tasted it, and nodded "its good... trying to get me with spice though, its funny... id tone it down a bit for the newbies though..." i smiled, kissing her with a laugh

"Well, I hope they dont try eating it by the spoonful, its supposed to be spicy. I put like 5 peppers in that thing," I said, smiling relieved. "Though I was worried you wouldnt be able to handle it..."

"nothings hotter than you..." i said with a smile, going back to my cooking
