A Broken Wing mature* (OPEN)

"Alright then lets gather them and be on our way. The sooner the better." Havi said with a nod of his head. He peers out into the woods around them to be sure they hadn't been surrounded.

Ao peeked beiefly, before she finished packing the things. "No one seems to be out there."

"Then lets get moving. The sooner the better." he said as he began walking out the door. Havi didn't wish to waste any time

Ao nodded, hastening behind him.

Havi walked with speed but kept in pace so Aoi wouldn't get left behind. "We will be approaching a clearing. There will be nothing around to hide us so we have to run."

Ao nodded, though she was nervous about it. She had never run so far, the mansion wasnt that big, and she spent part of her time ill...

"I can do this," She muttered to herself.

Once in the clearing Havi let Aoi go ahead of him.. He didn't want to leave her behind since he was faster than normal people would be. He stayed behind her as they ran. 'I hope this isn't too much for her...'

Everything, no matter what it was, seemed bigger than what Ao had once believed it to be. Once they made it to the other side of the clearing, she could barely breathe, and felt lightheaded. "Havi...I cant..." She managed to gasp weakly.

Havi sighs softly as he picked her up into his arms. "You did very well. I am proud of you Aoi. You can rest in my arms and I'll get us the rest of the way." he said walking slowly as they were back in the coverage of the woods.

After catching her breath, Ao asked, "Wont you become exhausted by carrying me?"

"It will be a while before my body becomes more human-like. Until then I can still use my angelic strength so its best to keep moving before it runs out." Havi said looking at her.

She nodded in understanding. She relaxed slightly, looking towards the direction they were headed.

Havi headed towards the water. He figures if they can stowaway on a ship to another island they can be safe. It was their only way out of all the craziness they had just left behind.

Does he want to try swimming away? Ao wondered, not quite comprehending Havi's current route or asking.

Havi saw a nearby boat and quickly went towards it. He was soon aboard it and hid with Aoi in the cargo hold. "We shall be safe here. The boat is going far so we have to be silent in order not to be found."

Ao nodded, staying quiet and trying to make herself as small as possible, curling up tightly.

Havi chuckled softly as he found Aoi all curled up to be adorable. HE did the same staying silent as the boat began to leave dock.

"...Havi," Ao whispered, "do you know how far away we'll get? Will we go really, really far and never be found? Im scared of what might happen if we're found..."

"This ship is going into foreign waters. We will be seriously far away." Havi said looking at her.

"Ah, I see," She nodded, and sighed relieved.

The ship too three days before arriving at port. Once he felt it was safe, Havi slowly got off the ship along with Aoi. "It seems we are finally safe."

"Yay," Ao cheered quietly. She looked around, straining her eyes a bit, as the moon didnt provide much light and there were very few functioning lampposts. "Where are we, exactly?"

"I have no idea exactly but we are far away. So rest assure we will be safe. Now the thing is finding shelter." Havi said narrowing his eyes

"...Maybe if we keep walking down the road we will find shelter," Ao suggested, pointing at the dimly lit street.

Havi nods taking hold of her hand. He began walking towards the direction she pointed in.
