I kept myself from talking with a mouth full of stew, swallowing before saying, "Nothing much!? I'd never be able to make something like this without buillion cubes, its so flavorful~"

"well, ill teach you sometime... its just because i used stuff that i grew, not stuff from your world, which is probobly mass produced, yes?"

"Yeah, but even if I grew my ingredients in my backyard it still wouldn't taste as good..."

"its just a simple matter, you just have to adjust recipe to match the taste pallete of the one your cooking for..." i said with a smile, eating some as well

"You make it sound so damn easy..." I pouted, but not seriously.

"hun, ive had a quiet life and lots of time on my hands... i practiced forever, because i knew that if i had a deciple, they would need something to look forward to as a boy, or a girl, something for them to learn..." i said with a giggle, holding a hand up to my lips

"Well, if you put it that way..."

"..... ill add it to your studies at some point, if you would like"

"That would be nice."

"you know, if you ever wanted to study, i have compodiums that you could read, as it teaches at the start the basic spells, most of which you dont know, and then leads into more advanced..."

"...Compodiums? Are those textbooks?"

".... kind of, if i grasp the purpose correctly... your Artriarc is doing its best to convey its meaning to mine... and he to me..." i said, a slight pause before my awnser "a compodium is a book of knowledge, and shows how to do and use the spell, and how it ties into other things of the same nature... is that what a text book is?" i asked, brushing some hair from my face

"Um...I guess so? It does what a textbook would, in a way..."

"well, when we get up tomorrow, ill let you make breakfast with my help....." i said with a smile "while i prepare the items for your next lesson"

"Okay! I'll look forward to it!"

"okay, now, water manipulation..." i said, looking at her, waiting for her to ask questions

"Water manipulation?" I echoed.

"another word would be Hydro-Kenisis... the mental manipulation and conrtol of water..." i said, smiling "for example, how we created the Artriarc homes..."

"Oh yeah...and I kinda forgot the words..."

"start keeping a Dairy then.... i should have you do dictation as well..." i said with a sly smile

"...Dictation?" I asked, noticing her smile and feeling a little uneasy.

"its where you rewrite something several times until its burned into your mind... or i make you sing a song of spells in your mind with a magical limiter on your wrist..." i said with a slight giggle, and yawned "butt enough of that, today is a relaxation day..."

"Oh thank god..." I said, relieved that I wouldn't have to spend the rest of the time today burning it into my mind. I did not like that idea.

"... so, what about this world would you like to know about?"

"How many people are on it?" I asked suddenly. It wasnt a question I had put much that into-or any at all- but I suddenly wanted to know.
