The Wizards Assistant closed

"Hopefully wont have to resort to using it..." I muttered, balancing the tip of the knife on my finger the best I could.

"probobly wont..." i said, unlocking the door to find a bunch of people out in the hall beside our door, and i grumbled "get going, didnt your mothers ever tell you not to bother girls when you like them? because your acting like pigs, not the way proper gentalman should... where we come from, boys like you would have been killed on the spot...." i said simply, watching them saunter off and i groaned "god, the hormones are kicking in..."

"Who's? Yours or theirs? " I teased.

"both, theirs are setting mine off... god help me if i get drunk around them..." i groaned, splashing myself with cold water "this is why i dont like this... feels... weird... likeing boys... are we always that much of a pain to you girls?" i asked in a quiet voice so only she could here

"Thats just getting started...it gets worse when its just for one guy, who may or may not care about a girls feelings..." I said, suddenly feeling a sinking sadness, as I remembered the first and last time I confessed my feelings. He just downright humiliated me, and didn't really stop screwing with my emotions for a few months after.

".... sorry... shouldnt have brought it up..." i said with a yawn, seeing her face, so i pulled her into a hug "i get stupid sometimes..."

"Its alright, you gain experience from stuff that happens to you..." I said halfheartedly.

"hey, just remember, when your feeling down, you can always come to town and kick the crap out of the men..." i said with a smile, leading her down the stairs as i pushed on old man away with my stick to keep him from falling on me

"Haha, yeah, seemed almost like the right thing to do when these situations come up," I laughed.

"so, what did you want to do in town? go shopping?" i asked with a nod, happy she was smiling again

"I guess that would be nice. Wouldn't know what to get though..." I laughed meekly.

"well, why not go get you some new cloths? i might as well get some while im like this..." i asked, looking over my shoulder at the men who were watching us "and if i see yall there, ill kick your ass... only the men we choose get to even have a chance, and as most of you have probobly thought of trying something, forget it..."

"...Como burros al trigo...so stupidly stubborn..." I muttered. "I guess it would be nice to get some clothes..."(cant translate idioms, but thats the jist of it...)

"me or them?" i asked, leading her outside

"Them stupid. Us get new clothes."

"sounds like a plan... im getting tired of this dress..." i said with a sigh, leading her out the door, and sighed "honestly, im not that pretty am i? i mean, i may be biased about you, but im getting a little paranoid..."

"Like a goddess," I teased. "Just ask anyone here, and I hate to say it, but your beauty seems to distract lewd guys away from me, so...in your case, sucks to be you."

"next thing you know they will be praising me as the daughter of the gods... so help me, anyone touches me with a cross, or holy water, ill light em on fire and send em to hell..." i sighed, looking at her "would it be akward if i was stuck like this forever? because im still fairly new to this... change... and honestly, i cant date other men..." i sighed irritably, removing hair from my face with a wave of my hand "honestly, how would things fair if i were in this form in your world? would boys be any stranger?"

"Guys are pretty much the same anywhere, unfortunately," I sighed. "But I dont think you'll stay like that forever. It didnt stick last time, so I dont think it'll stick this time. Cheer up, being a girl isnt so bad, and its only temporary..." I said, trying to cheer her up.

"it is when the girl is probobly going to be raped... keep in mind, i am a virgin now..." i grumbled

"So we're at an equal level of vulnerability. Just use common sense, like staying out of dark forbidding areas or alleys and we should be mostly fine," I said, trying to keep reassuring both of us. "Besides, youve done a good job at keeping the guys at bay. Theyd have to be incredibly stupid to wanna mess with us."

"or incredibly brave..." i said, eyeing the men around us warily "god, im like a feild mouse in the middle of a pack of dogs..."

"Bravery is when you have the guts to do something dangerous yet honorable. They just have the guts to do something incredibly stupid. Dont worry, we'll be fine.  We're on guard."

"geez, look at you, teachin me things... who have thought it..." i said, nodding lightly and i squeeked as a man smacked my ass, and i hit him with the stick "perverted FREAK..." i grumbled, my face bright red, and i grumbled more "whats worse is that im sure that in about a week ill enjoy the attention......"

"...This is gonna call for very awkward situations in the future..." I said, doing a minor face-palm, and basically getting as close to her as possible, as if she were a shield of sorts.
