I sighed. "Alright, you can put something to dull the pain. And I know im dying because Ive died before...or at least I carry the memories. Im a clone, and they invented a device that could transfer the entirety of your memories to a new body, up to the last moments. So these sensations arent new to me."

".... why would they do something like that?" he asked, walking over to his cabinet to find something that would work for her specifically

"I guess they thought by scrapping me...they could make me better..." I said quietly, consciousness slipping. She held my hand. "You cant go yet," She said sharply.

"Im not sure if... I will. Either i'll recover from this...or..."

The room turned black, and I felt a floating sensation, vaguely aware of my body. A sudden surge of pain disrupted this brief false calmness I felt initially. I screamed in agony, realizing my body wasnt acting according to what I thought I was doing. I felt cold, and terrible agonizing pain that was amplified by my shaking body. I screamed, desiring to move my lips a bit to make the screaming something that didn't terrify me, something that only voiced my angst.

"Oh my god." She stared at my body, which shook all over as if I were suffering hypothermia, and looked pale, coated with droplets of cold sweat. The muscles on my face twitched with the desire to scream and to contort themselves as a reaction to the pain. "Do...do something! She is still alive I dont care what she said make sure she doesn't die now!" She pleaded the doctor.

"...." he nodded and moved her to the table easily despite his old age, and began checking her vitals and tempture "he body is going into shock.... go wake that young lad up, he is the closest thing we have to a donor incase we need a blood transfusion, or get your friends to move his cot in here...." i said, starting to do CPR with a special machine for her respiration, noticing her heart beat fad "i wont need him awake, give him this shot..." he said, pausing long enough to hand her a shot in a easy to use injector similar to those that patients who had an allergic reaction had

She nodded, quickly running over to him and jabbing the needle quickly into his skin, yet in a way that he wouldn't be able to feel it.

"....." after they moved me into the room, and she was in a more stable condition, he began to hook me up to a machine that would draw blood, and then began her on a dialisis treatment to start cleaning her blood in case of a forieng antibody causing the problem "tell me everything you know about these beta's as they are called... alpha's can wait till after..." he said to the scientist behind him, focused on his work for the most part "anything could help"

"Theyve been genenically modified, so she's resistant to almost every disease; however, they respond negatively or not at all to certain things. To what im not sure, not my department. Ah! Their sensitivity to pain is much weaker than in a normal person, so they injected her with something that made her hypersensitive to it, with random spikes that weaken her body everytime."

"so its a good thing to clear her blood... seems this young man is her night in shineing armor, he can donate to all blood types..." he said, watching the machine do its work while the oxygen mask did its job as well, and set the bag of blood to the side and sighed again "alright, shes stable, but until this finishes, and she wakes up, we wont know how much good it did..."

"I hope she wakes up, feeling better. And if he wakes up first, we say nothing about her condition."

"he will question the dialisis machine.... and how we moved the bed without him knowing-" he began to say befor carson interupted "hes exhausted so he will have slept deeply, and you can say that dialisal thingy is just testing her blood..." he yawned, leaning on the door heavily

"Well, one issue explained," She sighed. "I wonder how long until she wakes up...if she does..."

"im keeping her under until we clear all unwanted chemicals from her blood, god knows that the needle and the pain of drawing blood and having it go back in is painful enough to a normal person..." he said with a yawn

(THEY. ALL. YAWN.)
"How long until he wakes up?"

"about an hour...." the doctor said, and chuckled "poor boy, even in his sleep he wants her next to him..."

3 long days later...
"...?" I weakly opened my eyes, blinking many times, unaccustomed to the sudden light, and yawned(XD), looking around, a bit confused. "...This isnt the facility..." I muttered.

(lol i know, as i said im TRYING to be RID of said habit)

"Morning..." i said excitedly but quietly, happy she had woken up, looking at her from the chair i had moved there next to the bed

"...How long was I asleep?"

"three days why they filtered your blood... aparently it was a chemical in your body making you very receptive to pain... i was out for a day and a half due to exhaustion, but they had to give some of my blood to you..." i said quietly, caressing her cheek quietly, everyone else outside playing with eachother

"It didn't feel like three days..." I whispered, holding his hand.

"thats because they had you under an IV... does it still hurt?" i asked gently, laying my head down next to her other arm

"I think the pain has been replaced by a tingling sensation, but i'll take that over pain anyday."

"...." i nodded, and sighed tiredly "good, cause ive been unable to sleep due to my worry"

"Why are you worrying? You shouldnt worry over me," I scolded, but it was fairly weak.

".... because i... i... i love you..." i said quietly, my voice weak as well "i dont know if i can take any more loss's, any more death... i just cant take fighting anymore, i cant take my own pain..." i muttered tiredly

I sighed. "I dont know how I feel about you, but it bothers me that you love me so much that you cant live without me...I dont want you to suffer because of me...Its not right..."
