First meeting

"Im sorry...I really am this time. It was the only way I could think of at the moment to not make it seem like I was shooing her away," I said, resuming my position of my head against his chest, a little frustrated with myself that I had pushed it a little far.

".... its fine, it was just that it was unexpected... its the words that fazed me the most.... the way you cuddled me was nice..." i said with a sigh, my face going back down to its original shade quickly as i sighed again, looking down at her with a small smile

"The only words I could think of..."

"seriously, its not a problem, just stop bringin em up and ill forget about it... im a guy, my attention span is about that of a goldfish..." i said with a sigh, playing with her hair now

I rolled my eyes. "Sure it is," I answered incredulously.

"my ADHD makes it like that... but with my disability i get this thing called hyperfocus... when something interests me, i focus on it like its a lifeline, to the point that i get visably angry when im pulled away from it... its like my computer repairs, games, or you...." i said simply, raising an eyebrow "havent you noticed how when im not working on Technical stuff, im always by your side unless its dangerous to your health? or how hard it is to get my attention when im fixing things?"

"Um...how would you being with me be dangerous to my health?"

"the bugs from the ship? i read up on them, they tend to attack men more as they see the men as more of a threat than the women, even though thats a mistake..." i said simply, shifting a bit and relaxing, more comfortable now, and smiled "but so far, other than being sick, i havent found anything that could keep me away from you...."

"Whoa...that wouldve been nice to know beforehand, but at least nothing really serious happened."

"indeed it would have been..." i said with a sigh "they are still clearing them out..."

I sighed. "I wonder what else were gonna have to deal with in the future..."

"dunno... im tempted to just save up money and get a house paid off and work a small easy part time job.... relax a bit, ya know?" i asked curiously, thinking on it

"Yeah, relax while we guard a piece that will kill us if its broken. Dont forget that bit," I sighed.

".... how could i... its straped to my wrist...." i said quietly, looking at the device, now encased in a super strong metal casing to keep it protected, and sighed "i know its important to keep it safe, but i want to have a semblance of life while i still can, ya know? i know we cant go back to earth, so ive been staying up at night to search for a planet similar to earth because of that..." i said tiredly, slightly aggitated she had brought up the subject of the true curcumstances of us being here, and glanced off to the side, focusing on the wall as i started going into thought

I nuzzled his neck. "Im fine with living on the ship, or going back and forth to the adapting room, where we woke up, remember? Anyways, maybe we can find a place we like better, something new, you know? New isnt so bad, it just takes some getting used to."

".... Fine, but you get to pick it out..." i sighed, yawning a bit

"if it has a stable connection to the online service that is the internet here, and your happy, im good..." i said with an honest look "im not all that hard to please really..."

"Youre way too complacent, at times..." I sighed.

"least im not a thick headed idiot..." i said simply, and smiled "i could start being more stubborn if you wouldnt use your feminine powers to cause my reactions to get what you want..." i said with a large grin now

"But its fun...."

"you want stubborn, you gotta comprimise... for examples, tuesdays you cant tease me...."

"...That sounds really, really difficult...but I guess ill...try."

"tuesdays then..." i smiled, and sat back "means im safe on my birthday!"

My mouth fell open. "Awwwww, why did I agree..."
