A High school type rp. Two rivals are in the same class all year but when one moves away the other realizes he has other feeling. They eventually meet in college but the one that moved away doesn't remember ever having a rival.

Personality: Sora was always a straight 'A' student. Many adores him because of his intelligence however except one person that he dislike the most, his rival. Sora can be a pain in the ass some times but when his rival left he started to have a mix feeling for him. After so many years his heart grew cold and distant that is until he met him again. Also, he has a sweet tooth and would tend to have a lollipop with him at all times.

Youji sat in the passenger seat of his mother's car. He stared out the window feeling rather bored. "Oh don't make that face. This is where you grew up so its possible it might feel nostalgic to you." his mother says smiling. "Not even close. Everything looks so plain and bland. Why did father want us to move back here anyway." he asked. He could never understand why his parents did things without asking how he'd feel about it. His only concern was to try and stay out of trouble like they asked of him. "Well here we are. Its kind of close to where we use to live." she says getting out the car

Sora who had been walking home from school took out another lollipop as he popped it into his mouth savoring the sweet taste of it. While walking, he noticed a car that went past him. Studying the car he saw that it had came to a stop in front of a newly built house that was build not that long ago. Eying it for a bit, he didn't bother caring one bit of whom was in that car or whom have move into that particular house. Upon walking past the car, his eyes were too focus on going home to do his homework. Without realizing who was in the car, Sora heard his phone beeping as he picked up to find a text message.

'Sora, honey. I'll be out for the evening. If you're hungry, I left some dinner in the fridge. Just reheat them and I'll be back tomorrow night. -Love mom'

Sighing a heaving sigh, he made a left turn and made his way to the front door. Taking out his keys he soon walked inside but stop mid-way when he caught sight of the passenger door as it opened. 'Who is that?' he wonder eying the person who just came out.

Youji got out of the car and looked around. "So plain and boring. Do we really have to live here of all places?" he asked. His mother looked at him sternly. "Don't get that tone with me. The movers already placed the things inside yesterday so all we have to do is unpack. Your father will be home tonight. In the mean time you can explore but don't go too far okay." she says walking to the front door and entering the house. Youji placed his hands in his pocket. "Explore....? I'm not a child anymore." he grumbles

'Am I hearing it correctly?' Sora thought noticing that he heard that this place seemed boring and whatnot. Indeed this place that Sora had been living in has always been boring. It may be a small town but everyone here knows everyone and that includes himself as well. It had only been about a good two minutes when he went inside to get himself a drink and came back out. 'So they're my new neighbors? Should I go greet them or something?' he mumble as he stood there eying the mother and the young man there. Waiting for a bit, he decided to take his dog out for a walk while eating his lollipop that is until his dog ran up to the new comer. Usually his dog wouldnt but at times if his dog knew that person, he would go running like there's no tomorrow.

"Kota! Get back here!" He yelled as he ran after him when he saw his dog jumping into the air and landed on the man in front of him which he was his new neighbor. When Sora got there, he pulled the leash to settle him down as he looks at the man. "Are you alright?" he ask when he had noticed that the man didnt seemed to like the idea of meeting some random people out here on the street.

Youji sort of looked around not knowing what to do or where to go. He had a feeling nothing really exciting happened in the tiny town so he wasn't sure if there was really anywhere to explore. To much of his surprise he was suddenly pounced on by a random dog. He grunts slightly trying to get the dog off him. As he thought so he noticed someone take the dog off him. "I'm fine but next time try to control your pet." he says standing up

Sora glared at the man then pulled Kota away from him. When he saw that the man had stood up he noticed something strange about him but figure that it was nothing. "Control my pet? Heh, he's tame already. At times he would jump on people he knows so I dont know why he knows you but he seems to taken a liking to you.." Sora said as he turned the other way. "Whatever, I dont have time to deal with you. You may be new in this town but in this town, everyone treats everyone equally even though thats how they see it..." He mutter and walked off.

"People he knows..? What a dumb dog. I don't know it and I don't know how it knows me. Whatever, this town is washed up and old. I didn't want to return here but I had no choice. I may seem new but my parents said I grew up here." he says walking back towards his new house. 'What an odd guy.. must be one of those old time guys whose all about tradition..' he thinks sitting on the front steps

Sora stopped when he heard what the other had said. 'Used to live here as a child?' he thought when it hit him. 'Could it be Youji?' Sora quickly turn to find himself staring at him. 'It can't be right? I wonder if...' Sora lost his train of thoughts when his dog started barking. "Kota hush it. Come on lets head out for a run..." He smiled. Before leaving, he stood in front of the other's house, "Hey do you want to go for a tour?" he ask waiting for the other to reply. "And I apologize for my behaviour just now. I was being rude..." He smiled wanting to know the guy at least and took out a lollipop to give it to him as an apology.

Youji was flicking rocks with his finger before looking up. "You again...! I suppose a tour is better than sitting here bored. If that dog jumps on me he's going flying across this small town though." he says standing up. His eyes drifted to the lollipop in front of him. "Huh...? I accept your apology but won't take that. Candy will rot your teeth away, dummy." he says with a small smirk. Youji had no idea that his one phrase just now had been used dozens of times before. He use to say it to his best friend and rival long ago.

"Candy will rot your teeth away, dummy."

Sora stopped dead as he dropped his unopen lollipop onto te ground. Staring at him, his heart started beating making him feel a bit waver. "You couldn't possibly be Youji right?" Sora had ask as he waited. Somehow Sora got the feeling that Youji had forgotten about him being his rival. Coughing slightly he ruffled his hair and turned away. "Nah you couldn't be him. Anyways lets head out!" He told him taking Kota with him.

"My name is Youji. Youji Takemura to be correct. Why do you ask with such surprise?" he asked him as if nothing was wrong. He knew if name was pretty common so it couldn't have been that weird to hear. His eyes glanced over at the dog who looked as if he wanted to jump on him again. "Yes lets get going. If I'm out too late my mother might call a swat team to find me." he says laughing

While walking, Sora kept glancing over to Youji then back onto the sidewalk. He didnt really say much although on the way into the market, everyone started greeting him. He smiled and wave back at them when he let out a soft sigh. "Youji, what do you wish to see?" He ask wondering what the man is thinking about and what he thought of the town. Sora didnt know much about the man but he had a feeling that this Youji might be the same one from a few years ago. Recalling every last bit of scene that he had locked away was now open and he knew he couldn't stop the scene from flowing within his mind. "Kota wait..." The dog wags its tail as it waited when the two had stop. "Are you hungry? I'll treat?" he smiled trying to get friendly with him.

Youji glanced around the town as they approached and entered the market. He was feeling a bit odd as everything felt somewhat familiar to him. His head started to hurt as he tried to think why that way. His gaze drifted towards Sora with slight confusion. "Uh school. I heard I went to school around here. Could I see it?" he asked wanting to shake the weird feeling he was having. 'My mother can't be right.... I won't allow it at all..' he thinks trying not to get pissed off

Sora hesitated then nodded his head, "Alright if you wished to see that elementary school then I shall take you there. After all, this is a tour anyways so I can't stop you from going where you want to go..." He smiled slightly and turned on the other direction taking Youji there. When they got there, Sora could see that the school was now empty since they were already let out earlier in the day. The only ones left were just some teachers and janitors and possibly the principal himself. Entering the gate, Sora could feel the slight wind and the pedals of the cherry blossoms as it went past him. Inhaling an amount of air he let them out smoothly, "Do you want to go tour the inside of the school and the classrooms?" he ask looking at him. "If you wish to, then I would have to tie Kota onto the bike rack before going..." He told him.

Youji looked around as he could slightly remember something about the building before him. He couldn't stop looking at it in a complete daze. "No need for all of that. This is far enough for me.I think I'll head back home for now. I think I've taken too much of your time today." he says before running off. He wasn't sure why he was running but he didn't stop until he got back.

Sora seemed a bit confused to why Youji was in such a hurry. Not knowing what to do he was just about to head back with him when he noticed that Youji had already run home. "W-Wait?! ..... I live that way too?" Sora sigh and scoff at the same time. 'Oh well not my problem if he gets lost...' He thought and took Kota as the two went for a jog. It was just a few minutes later when he came back to the marketplace. Eying the good food he pulled back knowing that he had homework to do. After the marketplace, he jogged home with Kota.

Youji got home and went straight up to his room. His mother looked up the stairs and called out to him. "Is something wrong Youji. Dinner is almost ready so get cleaned up and come down to eat." she says. "I don't want anything to eat. I want to be alone." he shouts as he sat in the room. His room was already fixed up mostly by his mother. He sighed deeply as he walked over to the bed. 'That was seriously weird.. I know they said I grew up here so why is it so hard to remember it all...' he thinks getting upset

When Sora got home he walked into his room and looked out the window. Before doing that he went into the kitchen and fed Kota while microwaving his dinner that was in the fridge. Eying it for a bit he went into the living room and sat down while eating his lollipop. It had been about a few moments when he decided to head out for a smoke. When he went out he leaned against the porch rail and started puffing away. Looking next door he noticed the light upstairs that had turned on. 'Is he upstairs?' Sora thought and stares at it for awhile.

Youji laying on his bed before realizing he was feeling too hot. He got up and opened the window. He leans on the ledge before glancing down. "Ah ha! I got the room with the roof ledge. Why is it always like that for me?" he said to himself before opening the window all the way and climbing out to sit on the roof. "Now this is perfect. I wonder if any stars will be out tonight." he mutters softly

WHile staring at the window he soon heard the door open to where the balcony was. Being startle he found Youji looking up at the stars. Smiling he ask, "So you like staring up at the stars too don't you?" Sora called out to him from below with a cigarette in one hand. "Cooling yourself off?" he called looking thoughtfully at him. Stretching a bit, he check his phone and took out a book that he had and began reading it before doing his homework later on in the evening.

Youji heard a voice and looked down. "Sora...? Yeah I am cooling down. Sorry for running away like that. I just didn't expect to feel so odd looking at the building." he said with a faint chuckle. His eyes turn back up to the sky. "I do enjoy looking at the stars. It like a vast existence that's completely out of reach yet so captivating. You know what I mean?" he asked glancing over at Sora. Youji had no idea that his little phrases here and there was all it took to jog the memories of the other.
