A Broken Wing mature* (OPEN)

I have wings but I can't fly... Its something that's been on my mind for a long time. My name is Havi and I am a fallen angel captured by humans. The world itself became corrupt and thousands of angels were sent to purify it. Unfortunately we all met with a different fate. The humans in which we protect became savages and captured us. Some had our wings cut off, while others tossed in cages like animals. In a world with no light, where can one find salvation?

Bio: Ao has never left her home, a beautiful mansion where she lives with her Father, Uncle, and a handful of servants. She's allowed to go to every part of the house except for one of the rooms in the basement, which is always locked, the only key in her fathers dresser. However, when he Father becomes ill and her Uncle leaves on a business trip, she goes to see just what is so important in that room that must be so heavily locked...

Ao's heart beat so loudly she almost feared she would be given away. Noting her chance to slip into the basement unnoticed, she walked quickly with a goal in mind: the locked door. What could be behind that door that needed to be locked away? In her haste, she forgot that a few feet from the door, the ground was uneven, and she fell with a yelp, suddenly staying very still, unsure if she had been discovered, nearly having a heart attack. "..." She heard no incoming footsteps, so she slowly stood up, walked up to the door, and stood there, debating whether or not she open the door.

Ao finally got the nerve to open the door. However, it was so dark inside, she at first saw nothing. She walked into the room, feeling around for a light switch.

Ao jumped and looked towards the noise or chains moving as soon as the lights came on, her eyes widening with surprise. "Who are you!?"

She showed him the key, "I know he doesn't let others down here, my uncle. Sometimes my dad comes down here with him. But he never let me." She looked at the locks on the chain, immediately noticing that the key wouldn't work. "Im sorry, this key is only to open the door, it seems..."

"...What do they do to you?" She asked, before adding, "Im Ao, by the way."

Havi chuckled a bit as he looked at her. "I won't tell you a thing. It'll be too tormenting to tell a child like yourself. Just know its pure inhuman things that occur in this place." he said softly

"Oh please tell me," She said, sitting in front of him. "Oh please oh please oh please~" Even though he did mention that pure inhuman things were done to him, Ao couldn't think much of what that could be. Did they starve him? Try sufocating him and let him breathe once he was about to faint? Beat him? "What do they do to you??" He probably still wouldn't say, but her curiousity instantly got the better of her when he said he couldn't tell her.

She jumped back. "J-just curious...sorry..." she walked backwards out of the room, almost forgetting to turn off the lights and lock the door. As soon as she was back in her room, she pouted. It wasnt her fault, she didn't know any better. But maybe she shouldnt have asked..

She lied on her bed, wondering how long he had been down there. What they did to him. Why she hadnt been informed of this. This last thought frustrated Ao, to the point she didn't realize she hadnt yet returned the key. Or that it had fallen out of her pocket in her haste to leave, staying inside the locked room.

And that her father had gotten out of his own room to check on Havi.

Ao's father picked the key that unlocked the room Havi was in- as the key Ao had used was a spare- from the many other smaller keys he kept on his key ring, unlocking the door and turning on the light. "Youve been quieter late-" Then his eyes fell on the spare key on the floor.

"Actually, perhaps a bit of panic, considering theres a spare key next to you. How could that be, do you know?" He asked indifferently, even though he already had an idea.
