Zombie Apocalypse

Victor could almost heart her heartbeat as it sped up when she finally stopped moving and glared at him he could hear the difficulty of each breath, her chest fall and rise. For a moment, he felt like he had gained the upper hand, that this was the last of her moves, that is until the tanks shook the earth and he could hear the gagging of two spitters.

He turned and faced the tanks. Gorilla looking creatures that seemed well armored with their own muscles and deeper into rage than any of the other zombies. He breath slowly as he held up his blade in front of himself. He knew he would have to keep an eye on the location of the spitters, if he was to be hit again or more directly, he would be out for the count, a pile of mush like the lickers that were dissolved.

The tanks were fast, running up to him quickly though lacking some coordination. He would have to use that single fact to his advantage. As one came close and raised it's large arm to swoop at him like a wrecking ball he jumped onto the ledge of the building, jumped a few steps forward as the zombie his the side of the wall, loosening a bit of concert and making the building tremble and he almost lost his balance as he climbed onto the monsters back. Driving the raider into the zombies back it flailed it's arm and roared though the pain given was great, it seemed to not have much more effect as the tan began to blindly hit his backside. Victor removed the blade and jumped down from the creature whose rage built to a point he knew not existed.

Terra took this moment to calm her heart. It took a painful concentraition but she manage to slow her heartbeat to a managable level. But soon, the roof top gave way to the tanks many pounding. She comanded one of the tanks to rap itself around her as protection. Though she knows she will survive she could help but give a small scream as they fell. About twenty stories later, they landed. The two spitters landed with a splat but the three tanks were still running. She felt some blood run down her arm but she ignored it and took her chance to strike.

The rest of the building began to crumble at the second attack on Victor. He knew though he had heightened senses, physically he could not handle such a fall, so he climbed on the back of a tank, drove his sword in and used it as a landing pad. When the two hit the ground a sharp pain went through his side and he knew he'd be sore for a while afterwards, but he was alive and could stand, until both of those factors were removed, he would continue to fight.

The tanks gave him no time to stop and breath before they ran at him again to strike. Victor attacked them in the only way he knew how. He jumped on a pile of rubble, running to jump on one's back and he drove the blade through the monsters neck. he tried to decapitate to zombie, by sliding his raider but the creatures muscles were too thick and hard, the only thing he was able to do is slid it straight out and stab again.

A tank came up behind to help his comrade but before the fist came down to hit victor he jumped out of the way and the zombie just ended up beating up the other. Now the both turned on Victor and the tired was closing in.

Terra rested a moment before deciding it's time to go. She notice abandoned news helicopter near by for awhile. She took over the tanks and use two of them to distract him and use the third to grab him. Making him unable to use his weapon. She made the tank bring him close. "I got to go. I need to spread evil to other countries and so on. This has been fun and I hope we get to play again soon. I know you can't take on all three tanks at once so I'm just going to leave behind this cute fella who is holding you and send out the other two," she poke him on the nose, leaving a bloody mark on his nose. She turn to the edge and have her back against him. "On the slim chance you survive, I will be taking over the capital before moving onto Europe," she laughs, "My name is Terra if you're wondering. I hope the next time we see each other you will tell me your name." She gave him a wink and jump off the building. She commanded one of the tanks to hold on to her to give her a safe landing. The other one jump off in the other direction and ran off only leaving the one holding him. "Jeeze! If I had a body I would of have a heart attack from that jump," a demon hiss when Terra was place nicely on the ground. The other zombies were already coming closer to the crumbling building. Terra laugh and walks towards the helicopter. "Why did you tell our plans?" the demon said angrily. "Why not?" she challenged and hop in the helicopter. The dead body of the pilot was still strap in. She brought back his spirit but got rid of his free will. She commanded the dead pilot to take off.

The tank took him from behind, his hands pulled behind his back and his feet lifted off the ground, he gave the tank a good kick, having no effect. The tank walked forward till he was just a foot away from her. His eyes were narrowed on her, taking in all of her appearance, looking for any sort of weakness, he could see nothing to be able to use against her. In the end she left after telling her plans. When she jumped he was able to wiggle free from the tank but she had escaped, about to take off in a helicopter. If only he could fly then this would have been over long ago.

The tank grunted and he remember he was not alone. Victor quickly turned around in time to swing his blade up and cut through it's neck. Coagulated blood dribbled down the raider and seeped from the zombies mouth though her didn't give up. The Tank took a swing at Victor, tossing him to the side and pulled out the blade. If zombies were smarter, they would have tossed the blade over the side of the building, although he was not and tossed it to the side.

Victor ran for the blade and was able to grab it before the zombie could take another hit. The sword took a chunk out of the zombies arm and while he was momentarily distracted, he made one final stab to the neck, jerking the raider to the side and making a rather messy cut, half decapitating the head, enough to kill the zombie.

He turned to see the helicopter too far away for him to be able to catch up. The only thing for him to do now was go home, clean his wounds and get a little rest. Victor knew that this was just the first of many battles and they would continue to get harder. This was just practice. "The capitol" he repeated to himself, it was a travel for him, and if he had to guess, getting there would mean going through many more town, scattered with zombies to slow him down. A sensible person would give up on this country and move to Europe, gathering forces to take her down on step ahead. He would have to take the idea's into consideration. For now he crawled down the side of the half torn down building and headed home.

The helicopter took off safely, lucky for her, the body of the pilot was intact and there doesn't seem to be a problem with the helicopter. "To the capital," she commanded and of she went flying. She took one final glance at the building before giving a big sigh. She was about to fall asleep when the demon said, "Are you really going through with your plans?" "Of course. Easily I could do the opposite of what I said and invade China but... eh I don't know. I just wants to see what he does. Now let me rest," she said. And fell right to sleep.

At home, Victor took a shower, he accessed today's wounds. He had a burn from the spitter which seemed to have worsened since then and stung in the shower, his body ached from being hit by the last tank and and when the wall fell he had a lovely sprained ankle. The injury though he was most concerned about was the deep cuts from the claws of the licker. They continued to bleed and he was sure stitches seemed to be in his future. Outside of the shower he cleaned up his wounds, wrapped himself up as he had done so many times before. He pulled out the first aid kit and stood in front of the bathroom mirror. He had a fishing hook and some fishing string. Not the best things for a first aid kit but he didn't think he would ever actually have to stitch himself up. Victor tied to string to the hook and sowed a messy line into his skin. He then put gauze over it to stop the little bleeding left and bandaged it. He nodded his head approvingly, it should be fine as long as he kept his wounds clean and didn't do too much shoulder movement for the next few days. Maybe he could go see a real doctor just to get the okay on his work.

His next most important thing to do was work on his blade. It had dulled quite a bit during the fight and needed to be strengthened and sharp for those tanks. As he worked on that he thought of ways to take out the spitters. Tonight he was lucky enough that they really for the most part took out themselves. But Victor understood that wouldn't always be the case. He would have to build himself some armor, something to give him a little protection from each of the zombies attacks. He spent all night working on his weaponry an in the end, finished up some small gadgets and planned out some new ones.

He also decided his plan of action, he would go to the capitol. He couldn't get in the lead if Terra had succeeded in her plans before he had. Victor needed to rival her every step of the way. He did in fact get a hold of some of the leaders in Europe. Whether they take his plea to come together and form an army against a strong and common enemy seriously was out of his control. He knew he had England to back him up. Those guys took part in every war they could get their hands on because they usually kicked butt. The central european powers seemed a little less motivated.

At noon he had finished getting ready, taking along with him everything he felt h may need in this fight, and prayed it would be the last. The day time really showed the destruction that took place, only a few people were wondering the streets, loitering and trying to find any way to survive among the ruble left. Smoke rose from piles of char and what used to be homes. People chased his car, looking to get a ride but he ignored them, knowing it was safer for the people to head in an opposite direction.

Sometimes he would see a normal zombie in the road and he would run it over, but he would never stop to fight them. Again, time was of the essence, and he could always go back and do the clean up when the job was done and the threat or Terra was eliminated.

During the flight, Terra drifted in and out of sleep. When she is awake, she looks outside a use her powers to bring up more zombies when they fly over dead bodies. Luck for her, the demon was right that special infected make more of themselves because on occasion, she will find a tank here or there. Soon the night turn to dawn and dawn into morning. She finally made it to the capital but the helicopter seems to have ran out of fuel. They landed near the entrance of the city. No where near the white house, where she was planing to head to. The horde that she commanded to come is in the distance. There were few zombies already in the city but the panic has die down from last night. There was hardly anyone in sight, it seems everyone was in hiding. She notice that she was hungry and the cut on her right arm was clod with dry blood. She has several bruises but nothing bad. She decided she has enough time to eat something and clean up before heading to the white house. The horde is still far away and she needs to recharge her energy. She walked for about an hour before a women came running towards her. "It's dangerous to be walking outside, a horde might be around the corner," the women said and started to push her towards a apartment. "Hm, I'll use to women's kindness then kill her later," Terra thought. She started to form crocodile tears. "O-oh! I wasn't thinking about that. Everything is just rushing to me. Only last night I was having my piano recital and and and then..." she started to cry fake tears. "Oh you poor thing, let's go inside and fix that cut," the women said and close the door behind. "Oh thank you," Terra said with a innocent smile hiding her true personality.

He ended up hitting a lot of zombies with his car though it was when he saw a tank that he ended up swerving out of the way and hitting the accelerator. He needed to get to the capitol and fast to end the craziness soon. It had been a few days before he finally reached the capitol and starting to get later in the day when he came upon the city. He knew at first glance that her creations were running about. Destruction hung over the city and there was no one around, all hiding. In the distance there were dogs howling, though he could just see a tank killing the in seconds by the sudden ending of sound.

Victor slid out of the car and pulled on a bullet proof vest. He wore leather pants and gloves for some extra protection. His blade was heavier and sharper than the night before and he wore a utility belt with just a handful of items. A few smoke bombs, very useful for him since most humans can't see through the smoke but him, a pocket knife, a revolver though it only had one round of bullets to use sparingly, parachute rope, and finally a bomb he planned to use if he had Terra stuck with him and as a last resort.

He ran up to the White House which wasn't very far and stood outside the gate. All things here seemed relatively normal given the circumstances and Terra had yet to make her appearance in front of the president. At the gate a camera focused on him and then opened the doors. He figured they would let anyone inside who was of the living and protect them from the zombies as best they could. He needed no wait before he ran inside and up to the front steps where guards were standing. "What are you doing here?" a buff black man asked. Victor explained himself and the men exchanged glances. "Look, we have everything under control, though if you would like to hide from the creatures in the main lobby, it is being allowed for the time being." He hesitated, did he want to stay outside and fight or go in and find a way to protect the leader better?

Terra didn't went full on attack towards the white house. She decided to rest up and create several special infected. She killed the women and her husband the moment the horde walk into town. "You need to get a weapon for yourself," the demon advice her, "You are just acting cocky by not having any weapons." When searching through the women's apartment, she found a pistol with multiple rounds and a nice hunting knife. She search other apartments and found TNT. "Hmmmm," she thought and kept them near. By the time she consider she is ready, she created 10 spitters, 10 lickers, 13 hunters, 5 witches, 20 tanks, and 5 boomers. She sent them all out and the population of zombies must have double over night. She walk towards the white house on the back of a tank. She had a whole army of zombies her disposal. To many special infected to count. She climb up one of the tallest building near by and hid there. She careful made the zombies surround the white house. She sent in the hunters first. They jump on building to building and land beyond the gate to the entrance. The guards to fire but the hunters exploded. She put in TNT within several of the hunters and other zombies. Upon explosion, the white house caught fire. Next she sent in the tanks to take down the fence to let in the other zombies. "And let the chaos begin," she laugh as she watches from afar.

The zombies soon began their attack on the white house. Quickly the guards took out hunter after hunter, though their were far too many to get them all and most split past the gate, landing on the roof of the white house and exploding, quickly catching the building on fire. Victor turned to a few guards, "Go protect the president, keep him safe!" With no clear leader identified, the guards took the orders quite willingly in the chaos all around. Now the tanks quickly took down the gate and we coming on fast.

Bullets rained on the zombies, even some of the new ones were killed with head shots, though most shots had no effects, going through the stomachs or legs. The tanks were first in the crowd of zombies and Victor charged at them with his newly sharpened knife, now heavy and hard, hopefully being able to cleaning decapitate them now. He swung the sword of the first tank he came across and his clean blade was now dirtied with blood.

He wasn't all too thrilled with the effects of his weapon. Yes, it cut better than before, but it did not cut all the way through the thick muscle of the zombie and refused to consider chipping the neck bones.

Terra smile at her work. She folded her hands as if she is playing chess. Now that the gate fell the other zombies are able to get in. But there were too many to control. She decided to have the boomers run in kamakaze style. Running close to the guards then barfing all over them. Several exploded from gun shots but several guards were still in the blast radius. Smelling the horrible stench, the normal zombies came running by the dozens, ripping apart their victims. She commanded the spitters to climb high areas and prepare their acidic spit. The lickers were already climbing the walls and using their tongues to drag their prey into the darkness. As the zombies feed on the guards, the guards themselves started to change into more zombies. She commanded one tank to tear a hole to the side of the white house. She push many zombies inside to do their job. But her main weapon, the witches, she is holding back on them. She commanded more hunters to attack and exploded.

Victor watched as the guards were taken down, one by one and the stench of their death quickly filled the air. He ground his teeth and hacked off the head of the tank, it took a few swings but finally the beast crumbled to the ground. There wasn't even a second between taking down the tank when another was on top of him. He drew his blade through the zombies chest, and when the creature was in momentary shock, he continued to hack the tanks head just like the last one. The normal zombies he came across he took it out quickly an easy swipe to the head made it fall clean off.

A banging sound caught his attention as a tank tore a hole in the wall of the white house. Victor, as optimistic he was about the guards being well trained, he was sure they would be taken by surprise and be taken out as easy as the others. He ran for the whole in the wall, swinging his blade and attacking the zombie who were entering. Many had already slipped tough and he was pulled backwards by a licker. He kicked the liker in the side and switched the hand with the blade in it as a talon scratched his arm. Victor had fallen into a rage now, the pain didn't touch him and his already heightened senses doubled. He skillfully twisted the blade around his fingers, cutting off the tongue and freeing his arm.

Terra smile, everything is falling according to plan. Now for the witches. She startled them by making the lickers drag their victim towards the witches. One by one they went into a mad rage and chased after all the guards. One was able to chase a guard into the white house.

Victor created an opening into the white house, and took the chance to go inside. There were still plenty of zombies outside creating havoc although those held not nearly as much concern as the ones inside. Access to national secrets, the countries strengths and weaknesses and the leader all were inside, if anything was lost, Victor would fall yet another step behind and the battle would be lost. A licker took out the over head lights. He was thankful for his superhuman vision, having quickly adjusted and being able to still make out shapes in the dark. He smiled, flicking his weightless wrist in every direction, cutting the tongue shorter and shorter every time it tried to get him, till none was let and it was decapitated.

The blood collected along the base of his raider, dancing around his fingertips like a seductress in a club. He smiled, beginning to enjoy the sight of blood that has been collecting around him the last few days. Every time it fell onto his fingers it was like a small victory. He took no time though to admire it as it glistened and coagulated before taking out another licker that had come up from behind.

A boomer and a tank had both come at him at the same time, he knew what the boomers did now and could guess that if he moved in perfect timing, he could pull the same stunt he pulled back when he first met the spitters, let them take out themselves and hope at the same time it killed it's comrade. As the tank was about to reach around and pin him down the boomer barfed. Victor narrowly missed the attack and back flipped onto the tanks shoulders and jumped down, using him as a shield. The tank was killed and fell to the side. before another barf could be dealt, Victor took the head of the creature, and jumped backwards again to miss the splash of it's bile.

"Hurry and put me in a body," the demon complain. Terra decided it's time to create a body for one of the demons (think of SAS zombie assault demon). She just made a simple body not yet alive. Reaching out to the air she drag the demon and put it into the body. The body shook violently. Red flame engulfed it. Rising from the ground, the demon to form. "Ah, much better.... now come on," the demon said and put her over his shoulder. The strength of the demon depending on the strength of the creator. In it's wake, buildings starts to burn and skeleton zombies started to rise.

The white house began to fill with a soft grey smoke, no need for all the smoke bombs he had brought although they wouldn't have stung his eyes as much. Victor looked around seeing skeletons began to come into the building. He groaned to himself, wherever the president was, he hoped he was outside of the building, knowing he didn't have too much time to run around looking for him. Victor held up his blade turned, feeling the presence of another, holding the weapon up to the flaming demon before him. He began to feel slightly lost, with all the different zombies around and new ones coming up, he was confused how to handle each in such critical a time. Jumping in and dirtying his hands seemed to be the only option. Victor took the sword and tried to take the head of the demon.

The demon let her see through it eyes so she will be able to see through the smoke. "Let's find the president, yes?" the demon said and float/crawl into the white house. While Terra raise more zombies, the demon created skeletons. Inside she notice him. She watch him run at them. The demon was fast since he could also see through her eyes. He caught the blade with one hand and Terra got close to his face. "It's nice to see you again," she laugh and point her gun against his head.

"It's a shame the feeling isn't mutual." Victor hissed, trying to push his blade forward in his hand, the chilling barrel of the gun in her hand made him freeze. He moved not a muscle but didn't back down. "I see you found yourself some new friends, normally I would congratulate someone for this, but seeing as soon you will never see them again, it doesn't sound fitting." Victor said, just before ducking to the side and pulling out his own pistol. Though he rather use the five bullets for something more worthy, killing her deemed rather important. He now faced the barrel of his gun towards her. "I'm not letting you leave alive again."

"How cold," Terra said, she slid over the demon's shoulder and kick the gun out of his hand in a fluid motion. She ended hanging over the demon's shoulder, upside down. "I would think you would be nicer knowing my plans. You still haven't even told me your name. What a rude man," she said. The demon yank out the bade and threw it over his shoulder. "Rude people should be taught manners, no?" the demon rumble.

The gun went off as it hit the ground, wasting a bullet "Didn't anyone teach you it was rude to wake the dead?" Victor said as his blade was removed from him, the only two things he had left holding any help was his pocket knife and the bomb, frankly either seemed to pushing his luck. He withdrew the pocket knife from his waist holding it defensively as he looked for an opening to either of his other weapons, the pistol was under the demon's feet and the blade lay behind him. Both were out of reach and unlikely for him to get in the position. He ran to the right of the demon, holding the knife out to try and take a stab in Terra's side.

Terra quickly slid over to the demons shoulder, but still got a small cut. "Ouch, how mean...." she said, "And what makes you think that the dead don't want to come out and play?" The demon move slightly, feeling the cut from Terra's side. In the small movement, he stepped on the gun that was near it feet. "Damn.... why didn't you tell me that our life is connected?" she thought when she notice it's flatter. "No, can't show, the weakness," she thought and smile as if there isn't any problem. She look through all zombies mind in a flash. It seems the president and several others are hold up in a metal vault. She sent in spitters then got her mind back in the battle.

Victor smiled, having been able to smell the salty metallic sent of blood through the thick smoke, he knew he got her, not bad, but enough to slow her, even a little. "And what makes you think the dead do?" He looked to his blade out of the corner of his eyes, he didn't have much of an opening, but he needed his raider. Victor dove to the ground taking the handle of the blade and rolling over, pointing the end towards her as he jumped up. "You know, I think you cute, kind of like a bitch. Perhaps if you surrender now I may keep you as a pet instead of killing you."

Terra frown from his statement. "How disgusting," she said, getting a little pissed. The demon smack it's hand agansit him, making fly to the opposite wall. She crack her neck and to controll her anger she gave a pyscotic smile. "Since you are give me a lovely option, I too give you the option to become my pet. But of course I might need to break your will." The spitters already got to work on dissolving the metal vault. She send in a tank and some boomers to take out the president and guards.

Victor had no time to react as he was tossed against the opposing wall. He fell to the floor, momentarily in shock from the impact, sometimes he forgot his physical limits and let his head play in the clouds. There was a sharp pain in his left arm, thanking god it was not the one holding his raider. A smile was on his face as he used the blade to stand up. "Somehow I don't find that offer very appealing." As much as he wanted to take her out first, the demon was in his way. Victor held his blade vertically as he ran towards the demon, bringing it down just before it.
