A Mafia Tale

Akira had a short temper so when the other had called him a jerk his temper flared, but he kept himself from doing anything rash. "we were childhood friends ... I would always sneak away from my duties to see you, I would also get punished for it every time" he told the other bitterly. not bothering answering to what the other said after, Akira hoped the other would start to remember him.

"I clearly said I do not remember. You are so stubborn. Besides, if you were my friend you would completely understand what I am feeling right now. I know you don't so you are just trying to get inside my head and twist things so I'll listen to you." Umi says

"i have proof that I knew you as a kid" he told Umi truthfully "and I'm not trying to get inside your head" he added growling.

"If that's so then what happened to me the day of graduation?" he asked seriously. Umi may remember it only slightly but it would be impossible for the other to know. He forgot that his best friend had went home early so he couldn't possibly have known

"I don't know, I was forced to go home early that day to celebrate my father stepping down and giving me the position of leader for our clan" Akira told him looking down ".. But I do have a photo of us as kids" he added a moment later looking the other in the eyes 

Umi looked at Akira. "You really don't know do you. I guess its why I don't remember who you are. Forget it... I didn't say anything." he says looking away from the other's stare. Suddenly Umi's cell began ringing. It was his doctor Mimi. "I have to answer that." he says

Akira sighed "fine answer it but don't tell her about all this or drop any hints about thing .. Got it?" he demanded looking at the other with an icy glare

Umi answers his phone. "Hello there Mimi. Is something wrong?" he asked. "Where are you Umi!? If you're running away again I'll be upset. You know it's important for your rehabilitation to see me every day. Where are you!?" she says. She was worried so she was loud enough that Akira could hear. Umi was nervous now. "I um.... I am...." he wasn't telling the other

Akira looked over at the other and whispered "your childhood friend has sent you a ticket to go to America to see a specialist and your had to leave today and your just about to arrive at the airport so you have to go" wanting Umi to tell his doctor that

Umi sighs as he repeats what Akira said. "I see... Well if your friend is close by I'd like to inform him of something to tell the specialist. It's for your safety.." Mimi said. Umi looked at Akira and hands him the phone. "She wants to speak with you. She says it's vitally important." he mutters

 Akira nodded with a slight smile on his face and gestures for the other to pase him the phone. Once Umi passed him it Akira answered "Hello? What is it you would like to tell me?"

Mimi listened to the person answer the phone. "I have two things I'd like to discuss with you. Since you are his friend then you are well aware of the graduation incident. With that being said I thank you for getting him out of that nightmare house. It wasn't good for him. I would like to tell you to try not getting him to remember too much of his past. It'll cause him to have a break down resulting in violent actions." she says

Akira frowned as he told Umi's doctor "I truthfully know nothing about that incident, and Umi has never told me anything about it or most of his life even though I've known him for so long" 

Mimi was surprised by this. "Well unless you were there most don't know since it never made the news and such. I'll tell you though. The day Umi graduated his parents weren't there. He had rushed home only to find them in his room. His mother and father both there with warm smiles on their face and a cake. What seemed like a congratulations turned bloody as they both took their own lives. The shock of it all had Umi in a paralyzed state for about half a year. When he began recovering he had no recollection of anything pass just graduation. Being in that house must be haunting. I mean he prepares meals as though they are still there." she says

Akira nodded his head even though the other couldn't see him. "I see, I'll try not to bring up anything about his past then" he told the woman 'is that why Umi doesn't remember me?' he asked him self "would you like to talk to Umi once more before we leave for America?" Akira asked still following the story he made up.

Mimi was smiling a bit even though on the phone. "No it's fine. If he's finally out that house then I nelieve he will begin to recover. I believe he's in good hands now. Well take care and good bye." she says and hangs up. Umi looked at Akira nervously.

Akira smirked and looked at the other "looks like your under my care now" he said chuckling. At that moment the car stopped and the fever came back and opened the door "were home master" he said bowing before moving aside for the other to get out. " thank you Kojiro" Akira said stepping out of the car, he grabbed Umi again and lifted him out and started to walk with him to the door of the house.

Umi looked out the window as he pouted. He wanted to run but now he was really stuck with Akira. He stayed silent as the other took him towards the house

The door suddenly opened, inside stood two men with huge muscles with tattoos covering their bodies. Akira's face when blank as he saw them. They bowed and welcomed him home, Akira nodded to them and walked in "go tell Suchiya to start to prepare tonight's dinner" he told them starting to walk to the doors that let to his room. Once he reached them he opened them and walked in he sat Umi down "I'll be back don't leave this room" he told umi as he walked back to the door "don't forget there are killers all over this place under my command"  he threatened as he left

Umi looked around as the other carried him. Once in the room he looked at Akira. "Why don't you let me go already? I never plan to cooperate with you."

"I have reasons and I don't give a flying fuck if you like them or not" he growled harshly glaring at the other sick of his bitching, even his own doctor thought he was doing him a favor

Umi lowers his gaze and stays silent. He couldn't think clearly as his head was spinning of so many different thoughts. "I want to go home...." he mutters

"you are home. This is your home from now on so live with it, theres no going back" he told him closing the door and walking to the closet inside of the room. He opened it and tossed the latter a long shirt and a lose pair of pants "you can use these later for sleep clothes.

Umi looked away as he pushed the clothes to the side. He couldn't just accept things as they were. It was why he could never leave his house behind either. "I don't want any of your things. I told you I want to go home. This isn't my house it's yours. I don't plan to stay here forever. I will get out"

"Che fine" Akira growled as the other pushed away the clothing "you won't get out and I can promise you that, this will be your house to from here on" he added harshly
