The caste system

In the year 2471, a devastating plague swept across the plant. The Black Death no longer reign supreme as the most deadly disease after this. The world was over populated, making it easy for illness to spread. There was widespread panic and anarchy. By the time people calmed down enough to make a cure, it was already too late. More than half the population was dead. The world was going backwards. People started to concern themselves with basic survival that more complex ideas were becoming less important. With a lack of people there was a lack of people to fill in certain jobs. Before the world enters another Dark Ages, the government deployed the Caste System. People were divided into classes. People who are capable to do complex work go to the top while those who couldn't remain at the bottom do basic work. This was to make sure that there remain an array of jobs and not everyone become a farmer. The government promised this would only last for a couple years till the population revive to hold up a steady complex society.
Well, 200 years passed already and the Caste System became stricter. People are forced to remain in their social class and are not allowed to even come in contact with those above them. The world became advance technologically but it looks like people act like they are still in the past. Seems like those at the top want to remain at the top. To ensure power, those at the top created a system to protect the caste. Everyone's information was placed into a computer. Chips were planted into people at birth to monitor and identify them. From there, the computer enforce the rules. Anyone goes against the system... instant death.
Enters Alex, hacker extraordinaire. Well, that is what she likes to think. She never finished her hacking "lessons" before her teacher got arrested. Still young and over confidante, Alex decides to hack the system to try and raise her social standing. After years of self training, Alex decided to test her skill.... By changing the information of someone above her, _____. Things were going smoothly for Alex. She got pass the security system and was just about ready to save the changes before she got caught. Being thrown into jail, she waits to she her faith. Hacking the system usually leads to death. But after a court case in 2563, victims of crimes get to chose the punishment of the criminal. So... ______, what will you do to Alex?

There are five classes-
Slave Class: The lowest class possible. People of this class are usually illiterate, have no formal education, physically imperfect, and are usually physically or mentally cripple. They are consider dirty and usually does the work no one likes to do. They live on the outside of cities, in slums. Low life expectancy and are pretty much stuck in their class. Alex is part of this class.

Middle Class: The only class that manage to some how survive the plague. People of this class are normal office working folk. Usually do mundane jobs or work as shop mangers/ owners. Long life expectancy and live closer to the cities in suburbs. People live a simple and normal life.

Military Class: Higher class than Middle or Slave. For people's entire lives, they train to protect and serve their country. They also enforce the law. They live in nicer houses and feed better food. People in this class work as police officers, military, and in hospitals. Here we see more technology. Live close to the High Class.

Entertainment Class: These people are the cream of the crops in the looks department. But just because they are mostly all looks, it doesn't mean they lack brains. There is a reason why they aren't bellow Military Class. Sly as a fox, they know how to use their looks as a weapon. They work as actors/actresses. writers, comedians, singers, and so on. Dearly loved by the High Class and lives in the cities. (I advices that your character come from this class. Not the highest but have enough power.)

High Class: Scientist, politicians, doctors, and professions are found her. If the entertainment class was the cream of the crops in looks, then the High Class is on top for brains. The master mind for the computer, they control every thing down below them. Power hungry and destructive. Best to look to the floor around these people.

She can't see without her glasses and has a nasty burn mark on her right leg. Normally okay but on hot days it affects the way she walks.

Personality/bio: withdrawn and quiet to people when he first meets them, he is generally seen as an outcast even among his own Caste due to his fear of blood, as a doctor. as such, he decided to change to something that wouldnt require human interaction that much, and due to his now advanced skills and knowladge of computers due to the advanced records and training available to him, he descoved when Alex changed his data, and alerted proper authorities

In the darkness of a run down shack, Alex's dirt covered face was illuminated by the dim light of her computer screen. The shack was pieced together by scraps of metals and cardboard boxes. From the outside, it seems like no one lives inside, but it was only a trick. Being located far from the city, hell, even far from the lower class ghetto; it was a quiet location. The only sound that could be heard was the Alex tapping away at her make shift computer. Her brown eyes were glued to the computer screen as the light was reflected off of her beaten up glasses. Her glasses were repeatedly broken, only to be tapped up again. Her hair was a matted mess and her clothes were filthy and torn. Her eyes had heavy bags and her complexion looks rather bad. Of course it did since she hardly ever goes outside. Kind of hard to leave if you were written off as dead. A smile grew on her lips when she saw that she just got passed the government's security system. "There we go..." she though wickedly. Just then, her screen flickers. She frowns and gets up from her chair. She pulls what supposedly was a window and peaked her head out. She squinted her eyes at the sudden brightness but she had her eyes on a certain bunch. "Oy! You stupid kids! I thought I told you to not play with my wires!" she scolded. There was the sound of children playful screaming before running off. Alex gave a satisfied nod as she pops back inside. She looks at her computer screen. Playing with a strand of her hair, she reads the information. "Jake Kyron... huh?" she mumbled as she reads. "High class... ugh.Former doctor... now computer expert," she thought before smiling. "If I can change his info with out notice, I would be the worlds greatest hacker," she thought before typing away. She changed little things about his information but she did add some childish pranks like changing his gender and sexuality. She smiled proudly at herself before saving it into the system. After a few minutes, there was the sound of children screaming in pure terror. Alex looked up when she hears the sound of cars. "Damn! Military Class! Why didn't the software work to cover my trace?!" she panicked as she tries to hid her computer. But it was too late. The police busted in and dragged her off. The drive was long. The police car took her all the way to military class prison. She was thrown into a jail cell and watched as the police examine her computer. The dirty girl sat in the corner, far from other people. She was absolutely terrified. They probably notified the victim to come down to choose her punishment. She tried to put on a brave front though. "I hope those kids are okay," she thought as she waits for her impending doom.

"......" i sighed and looked at the records, looking down at my tablet as i typed "these kids arent the culprits... they are free to go..." i said simply, and reentered my information so it would be correct again, and walked down the cells to where the culprit whom had hacked the computer. after i arrived, i stopped in front of her cell.... "jesus, you know how much crap you caused me? i had to sort through all of your makeshift rig to figure out how you entered the system... and then i had to figure out what you did..." i grumbled, pinching the bridge of my nose "and on my day off too! im just glad i forsaw this happening and put in code to alert me whenever someone attempted to access the system, permited or not..." i said, exhaling as i looked up at her "whoever the hell taught you did a good job... get up, your coming with me as my "Assistant"..." i said simply, and yawned as they put a collar around her neck. "first things first, we gotta get you cleaned up... cant have you looking like... that... and theres the matter of your burns.... cant have you do anything if you cant work..." i said simply, opening the cage door "and just FYI, try and attack me, youll get shocked, run away, it will shock you, and if you are good and obey, it will cause a pleasureable feeling..." i said with a slight smirk "its a bit blunt for my tastes, but until i can come up with a better solution, its the best i got... and though i dont like it, until we get to the house and set the home setting on it, ill have to have you on a leash..." i said, and the gaurd set the leash in my hand and i sighed, "dont make me regret this, else you go to a brothel or something...."

Alex flinched at the sound of the male's voice. Clearly, she could tell that he is annoyed by her actions. She buried her face deep into her chest as she curl tighter into a ball. She remain silent as she listens to Jake's words. She couldn't help but smile slightly knowing that she made someone from the High Class trouble. At his words that she had a good teacher, her pride went up. Though part of her teaching was from her teacher, her other half was all self taught. Her head sprang up at what her fate was to be. "Assistant?" she repeated in shock. Her mouth was open slightly in surprise. She never expected this outcome. She was expecting torture, death, life of imprisonment, or even her family getting killed. Can't say she is happy about this but she wasn't angry at this development either. "Hey! Let go!" she struggles as to nurses started to uncurl her. It was clear though that she has a lack of strength due to malnutrition. When the collar was securely around her neck, she was dropped to the floor. Her hands reach up to the collar to tug at it but receiving a good shock from it made her immediately stop. She looks up at Jake, a mix of both anger and fear in her eyes at he talks about her appearance. She pulls down her tatter pants to cover her burn, getting rather defensive about it. It has been years since she has gotten that burn and it still looks fresh due to lack of medical treatment. She tries to keep it clean though and soak it in water once in awhile. As appealing as it sounds to get rid of it, it's a scar that reminds her the reason why she became a hacker. "I don't want any medical treatment if it means that my burn goes away completely. I can still do work and go about with this leg," she tries to say steadily, though her voice did waver slightly. Her hand goes back to the collar as he tells her what it does if she tries to do anything. She mentally noted though that it doesn't shock her if she is just feels it. A disgusted look went on her face when he mention "the pleasure" function if she obeys. She couldn't keep it in. "How disgusting," she spoke. The things the High Class would make just sickens her. Now, more than ever, she wants to get that collar removed. She moves her head to the side to look at the wall as she spoke. "I hope you come up with a better solution soon," she said with some hostility in her voice. Her cheeks get tinted red slightly at the leash being placed into his hand. Now, more than ever, she felt like an animal. Sure, all the other classes treat the Slave Class like pack mule but at least they consider them somewhat human. Now all her humanity is crushed thanks to a pair of collar and leash. How embarrassing this was for her. Just moments ago she was the best hacker in her class, now she is nothing more than a pet. Now she wished that she was dead. She remain on the floor, planning to play defiant, but the end goal is to get that damn collar off. She is just postponing it of she acts stubborn. She got to her feet and looks at Jake expectantly. She crossed her arms, not uttering a word.

"calm down, ill leave a small section of it there so it will still be there as a scar, that way you can be proud of it.... as for the plesure function of the collar, i wanted it taken out, but they wouldnt let me, said that it was required for you to learn a lesson... even i have humanity, but i have to obey the rules myself, else my choice is void, and they can do whatever they want to you... my way is the more plesent way... as for why i havent had you killed, i still beleive in my medical oath... i shall do no harm..." i said quietly, walking with her tiredly. "you think im not disgusted having to hold a leash? you think it doesnt irritate me that i cause harm with those shocks? besides, you could have had someone who would have tied you to a bed and screwed you all day and night, whenever he wanted... me, i just want some companionship...." i muttered, turning around and began walking slowly towards a room accross the way. "go in and get showered, the door will lock behind you so no one else can come in, and ill have cloths dropped just inside the door through this little slot...." i said, opening it for her and waited paitently

Thought Alex was still clearly on the edge, being in trouble and all, a weight on her shoulders lifted when she heard that her burn wouldn't be fully remove. She breaths out a silent relief. There was a slight twinkle in her eye that says that she was thankful but she cringe at Jake's harsh words. "Could have fooled me," she mutter, more to herself. "It feels like all of the High Class lots their humanity. It's weird how you are the only nice doctor," she said as she glance to the side. She shook slightly as she thought of the possible out comes for her if Jake wasn't the one to have been wronged by her. "I doubt anyone would consider even touching me. I'm from Slave Class, to the rest of the world, we are just as dirty as the plague," she tells him, "People would much rather fuck with those in Entertainment Class than to lower themselves to Slave Class. We are imperfect, remember?" She looks at him suspiciously though when he said companionship. "Uh, weird way to make a friend. As glad as I am for you not choosing to kill me, I think you made a bad choice in who you want to be around," she told him. She did tell the truth, somewhat. It has been a very long time since she has been around people. Even longer since she last talk to a person for more than an hour. The effect was clearly happening, seeing how her throat was starting to feel sore. She looks pass Jake to look at the shower room curiously. First time she has ever seen a room like that. The infamous room dedicated to cleaning oneself. She looks up to Jake to see if there was any hint of a cruel prank or any deceit. Seeing none though, she stepped inside. Just like he said, the door closed behind her. She got nervous at first. What if she was trapped in there for ever.... what if she just drop dead?! Well, she might just be over reacting, but this is the first time she seen so many advance things in a day. She was getting rather overwhelm. She carefully walks over to what is the shower. There was some shampoo, soap, and conditioner nicely laid out. She heard of those cleaning products before but never knew what it was really used for. She played around with the shower at first. She jumps back when the water shot out. It took her awhile to figure out how to fix the temperature, but when she did, she strip down her clothes. At least she knows what a taking a shower is. Seeing how no one came in, she felt it was safe enough. She removed her glasses, the first time in months and neatly place them on her clothes. Though the world was blurry for her, at least she could make out shapes. She decided to take her sweet time, since she doesn't have any clothes to change into right away. She used hearty amounts of shampoo and conditioner then study their effects on her hair.

"...." i sighed when she went inside, and a few minutes later, heard the shower start going, so i slipped some cloths she would be able to wear, a simple set of underwear and a nice dress, ignoreing the stares i was getting for being nice to her and growled "go away, its my decision..." i grumbled, looking off to the side as i did so, crossing my arms as i waited unpaitently for her to come out, decideing to distract myself by going over her records again ".... im not a doctor, not anymore... and your not filthy, your kinda cute... only kinda... for a Slave Class..." i muttered tiredly, running my hand through my brown hair as i pulled out my visualizer glasses, and synced her records to them so i could read them easier

Alex had fun taking her first ever bath. It has been a long time since Alex had something enjoyable that has happened to her. Despite her current situation, she knows when to enjoy the little things. Something not thought by her teacher but by her mother. Though her mother was illiterate, she knew how to make Alex have fun. Inventing little games by using the surround. All this reminded Alex of her family and made her slightly homesick. Even though she decided to become a ghost when she became a hacker, at least where she was located, she was close to her home. Now she is many miles away. Alex finally decided she was done with her bath when she accidentally got soap in her eye. She didn't drop to her knees or scream about it though. This pain felt like nothing to her, though it did manage to get a "damn" to escape from her lips. Turning off the shower, she looked around for her clothes. Though her vision is blurred from not wearing her glasses, she still manage to find the new clothes placed for her. She didn't know weather to freak out or scream knowing that Jake choose her some underwear. She dried herself to the best of her ability with the towel she was given and wring her hair of any extra water. She place on her clothes and finally wore her glasses again. It was foggy but she can she crystal clear again. She turn to a mirror and wiped away the mist. She was surprise to see herself so clean and her hair not a mess. It actually has a shine to it, despite it still being what. Though she will tell Jake that she hates the dress, the thought of actually looking feminine was a warming thought. She didn't know there was a hair dryer in the room. Even if she did, she doesn't know how to use it. Picking up her old dirty clothes, she left the room and look to see Jake waiting outside. A frown went back up to her face as she looks at him with expectancy. She notice him wearing a sort of technological glasses. She could easily guess the function for it and that he looks busy but she doesn't care. "I'm done. What now?" she questioned him, she tilt her head to the side, her hair dripping slightly. The eye that got soap in it was slightly red and Alex was playing with the dress she wore, nervous.

"you look pretty... you know, a few of the entertainers ive seen would be quite envious of you...." i said and looked her up and down and noted her glasses "first things first, we will head back to my home, where ill repair your leg, while leaving that small scar you wanted me to leave. and if you would like i could also repair your eyes for you... honestly its up to you, but your records show that you have difficulty working on hot days, and summer is almost apon us...." i said, and smiled a bit at her wet hair "remind me to show you how to use the technology when we get home... i have a hair dryer being brought to my home as we speak, as your hair will need to look pretty when we go to events and such...." i said simply, and sighed, reattaching the collar "again, i dont like it any more than you do... its a 10 minute trip, and as soon as we get home, ill sync it to the home systems so you wont have to wear the leash.... as for the pleasure function, again, not my idea, and i cant change it... the design was made so that any attempt to alter it would kill the person wearing it...." i said, my glasses powering down so they would be more transparent so i could see her, and removed them "..... you also refered to your family and children while you wear asleep dureing transit... your family seems to think your dead, and the children were released this morning...." i said simply, my eyes going over her yet again ".... ill try not to make this any more annoying than it already is... i know im probobly not your favorite person right now.... probobly not anyones favorite either..." i mumbled that last part, and started walking at a slow pace out the doors to wear a car waited, my face now hidden from her as i sighed, my face depressed and downtrodden as i waited for her to get in the car

Alex pulls at her wet strands of hair and looked down to the side after hearing Jake's complement. There was a frown on her face, which looked more like a pout, but her cheeks were a tint of pink. Not looking at him, she said, "Thanks for the complement but don't think throwing out false, sweet statements would win me over. I don't like being played around with like that." She then mutter to herself, "This society makes me ugly." It took her a moment before she looks back up to meet his eyes. She pushed up her glasses. "No thanks. I much rather keep my glasses. All these little imperfections make me who I am and makes me special. Taking them away takes away my identity. Though... a new pair would be nice. These are already broken," she told him, letting out a large breath. She twitched when he reconnected the leash. It took every fiber of her being not to flip out over it again. No matter what he says, she really does hate the leash thing. "If going to events mean that I have to have this leash, I much rather look ugly and remain in your home forever," she told him. She says that but she is following him when he started to lead. Her eyes widen when he mentioned her family and those kids who liked to play near her house. Her eyes narrowed and was about to acted bitter till she heard the rest of what he was going to say. She let out a sigh of relief. With a shaky voice, she said, "That's good. That is really good. Though those kids are a bunch of brats... they deserve freedom. Not imprisonment just because they were hanging around me." She rubbed her forehead and frowned. "As bad as I feel for my family, this is for the best. What I do will get me in trouble, as seen right now. Thinking I am dead will give them closer than knowing I am alive but... well here. No offensive," she said. She looks at Jake suspiciously. She shook her head and scoffed a bit. "If you are saying that to make me feel bad, then you are doing a shitty job," she told him, "You are my least favorite person right now. Though it would be a stretch to say that I hate you. 'Cause I don't hate you. But everything around me is ticking me off." She looks to his car curiously. She have seen many of these vehicles before but never the inside. She looks back up to Jake to see what she was suppose to do but just saw that he wasn't facing her. She could tell though that he was not happy. She leans forward, trying to peak over the car to look at him straight. "Don't look so sad. I should be the one acting like that," she said. "Damn... I feel bad," she muttered before continuing, "Like I said, I don't hate you. I am just releasing my anger on you, seeing how you didn't slap me yet. So... don't look so glum... I'm suppose to be your companion, right? Or friend?" When she finished talking, she moved back and look to the car once more. Remembering how a middle class opens it, she opens the passenger side and crawled in, closing the door behind her. She looks around the car in wonder as she wiggles around, not able to contain the excitement of the discovery to herself.

"i was serious about that compliment..." i muttered, and nodded as she mentioned glasses, so i quickly made an appointment for a specialist to come and see her with a catalog, and turned to her "once your synced to the hom, you wont have to touch the collor again, as you will be able to be located any wear on the planet if you tried to escape... and i dont do pity parties, i dont say things to make people feel sad, i just say it as i see it... if your cute, ill say it, if your in trouble, ill say it... and your my companion.... ill leave you to find the awnser of why to yourself... you seem capable..." i muttered again, just enough for her to hear, and grumbled as i ran a hand through my hair "even if she says that, i know the truth... im not dumb.. and even if she isnt, she will hate me like all the rest...." i thought to myself and looked off to the side and out the window "you wont be alone... there are others of your status here, some willing, some as a punishment or favor from another person... they will do most of the work, you will just be there to keep me from getting to focused on a job and make sure i take some down time... other than that, you dont have to deal with me unless you want to..." i said quietly, and withdrew as far as i could from her, unsure of what to say now, and pulled out a picture of someone, hidden from her view, and after a few minutes, put it back in my pocket and pulled out a small book that had paper in it, a rareity these days as everything was digital, and began writing, my back to the car door so she couldnt read anything i was jotting down

Alex look in surprise at what Jake said. Her eyes search him to see if there was anything about him that would give away that he is lying but saw nothing. She turn her head to not look at him. "Whatever," she answer but her cheeks were slightly red. She was happy to know that he wasn't lying about his complement about her. She nodded her head, still not looking at him. "Ah, I had a feeling that there would be others of my class there. Nothing really new," she said, "But now I really feel like a pet if that is all I have to do." She cross her arms and look to her lap. "If others see you treating me special like that, you are just going to make them hate me," she told him, "Or they might think you have a... different reason for treating me like that." She gave a small sigh. "Do you really over work yourself? You were a former doctor.... shame," she said, with a small smile playing on her lips. She turn to look at him right at the moment he pulled out a picture. Alex knows her place though, to not be nosy and try to see what it is. It looks important to him, judging by how he was hiding it from her. "Must be someone who was close to him," was all she thought as she lean her head against her arm to look at him. Alex could be a willing person to talk to if the other person is willing as well. She just looked at Jake and waited with open ears. Then, she saw him take out a notebook. "Wow! A notebook... never thought they still existed," she said with wonder. Again, knowing her place, she does not question Jake what he is writing. "Are we going to go now?" she asked him.

"only one programmer is allowed into the system at a time, and unfortunately, not many like doing this work... and even less are trusted with it... and every girl there has a different job, some from cooking, others to laundry.... your the first that will be doing what is needed, so the girls wont think strangely... if anything, they will probobly end up treating you specially as they hope that by gaining your favor, youll convince me to change their class... its harder to come by friends, so as such, im... alone now..." i said quietly, stopping what i was doing for a moment as i looked up at her "my job is one that makes it very difficult to find a companion that one can trust for any amount of time, for fear that the one who doesnt moniter the Caste Network is only there to manipulate you... so at times ill be distracted so much by work, as that is one of the few ways i can distract myself, is to throw myself at work with ruthless abdandon until i pass out... i get to focused on my work, so i dont think... i get to exhausted to dream..." i said with a downcaste look "thats why your here, is because i hope that you, a former hacker, can understand what ive been through, and just watch out for me here and there...." i said, my face downtrodden still as i focused back on the book "yes, they are very rare... even i have to pay alot of money for them... but i recently won a manufactureing plant for them to make them for me for free, and i get income for it since others buy them as well..." i said, and began writeing again, my face noticably happier when i did start again, as it helped distract me from the problems of my job "we are still going home, we are going to sync you to the home systems, and a specialist will see to your new glasses... after that, ill fix your leg, get your collar situation figured out, then ill have to go back to work, so you will have the day to yourself...." i said, my mouth covered by the notebook in order to hide my frown and very quiet sigh "i have a long work day ahead of me to repair the damage, and to increase the security messures... that will probobly be where you will have to stop me at a reasonable hour so i can get a decent amount of sleep... you can have any room you want in the house, just be sure to let me know... other than that, you dont have to deal with me... the other girls certainly dont want to any more... they took my friendlyness as me wanting to get them in bed... after awhile of being considered a pervert, or a creep, or some other form of monster, you just give up on people and avoid them when you can... i save whom i can here and there, send their families some money to help them out, and make sure those i do save live in comfort for all the crap this system imposses, all the trouble and suffering it causes..." i said, my voice flat as i got up and opened the door as soon as the car stopped in front of my house, holding it open for her

Alex made an annoyed look at what Jake said. "Ick," she muttered to herself. She crossed her arms as she thought over her words carefully. Finally she spoke. "I much rather be treated rudely by the other females there than to be kissed up to," she told him, "At least them would I know their true face and know that I can trust their actions... may it be cruel to me. It's be good to know that they will act how they would act than a person I can not read." She looked down to the ground with a frown. She unfolded her arms and turn her head to look at Jake. She gave a sarcastic laugh. "If your job really is that important to the system and involves you in not trust to many people, what makes you want to trust me? A hacker who tried changing the system?" she question him, "What are you thinking?" She looked forward and gave a small nod, to show that she both understand and listening to what Jake was talking about. "I get what you mean though. That moment when you are too in tune with your work and you feel like you can finish something, then all of a sudden, too many hours have passed for a normal human being," she told him. She nod her head once more, her hair bouncing along a little now that it's slowly getting dry. "How do you think I have such a nice complexion," she said sarcastically. She looks to Jake once more. "But what am I suppose to do to keep you from getting over worked? Even if I can stop you, how do I help you relax? Juggle?" she questioned him. Alex looked at him in slight wonder when he talked about the factory he owned. "That's... sort of cool," she said, glancing away. She was mildly embarrassed that she admitted thinking that but that was what she actually thought. She only heard stories about those type of things. She thought the world stopped making books with paper inside them. She remain quiet but listen to him listen of what they were going to do when they get to his home. She felt rather bad for making him having to do that much work, but she wasn't going to admit that. "I'll do my best then to make sure you don't die before a computer," she scoffed. Though she sounded sarcastic, she does mean that she'll try to do a good job. She raised an eyebrow at what he said what the other girls think of him. "A pervert? Really? You strike me more of those awkward type fellows," she told him, trying to comfort him in a way. "If you were a creep, I would know. Had to hang around those type of guys for awhile to get the pieces needed for my customized computer," she told him. She looked at him in surprise when he told her that he gives money to those girls family. "You are really nice, huh," she told him. She had an actual, warm smile on her face... for once, when she was looking at him. "I guess I see you in a new light," she told him before going back with her "pissed off" look. "If you hate the system, why do you work on improving it?" she questioned him. With the car stopped, she shyly got out of the car with a small "thank you" to Jake for holding the door for her. She couldn't help but feel small. She waited for him for the next course of action.

"if thats what you want, tell them up front..." i said simply and looked around as i waited for her to get out, then started walking towards the house "you ask what im thinking? my job requires off the wall thinking..." i smiled, and turned to unlock the door "you shall know in time what i was thinking... cant just give everything to you... so basically, if you need something, let me know, and ill go get it with you... help me relax by telling me stories or bring me tea, the girls will let you know what i like... if you want paper to draw or write on, let me know. distract me by walking in the room, its sound proofed so i can work in peace, so just opening the door and talking to me should startle me out of any trance im in unless its deathly serious... i work to change the system for the better in the hopoes that one day, people like me wont be needed to safegaurd it, to the point where i will be able to just rest quietly, and my class can mingle with yours like it was in the past, in the history books... and your family is getting compensation in a slightly different way, as they think your dead... i told them that they got randomlly selected by the system to get a small paycheck every year from now on, and that it will be enough to comfortably feed and cloth them for until the current family dies..." i said, and ushered her into a room where a nice looking man was standing next to a chair and glanced at him "James, this ones special, make sure you get it right this time... else i find the things i need elsewhere..." i said, my voice going from warm when talking to her, to cold and flat as i talked to him "i dont want a repeat of last time with Samantha..." i said, and turned to her, my eyes lightening "ill be in the next room... if at any time you feel uncomfortable, call and ill come in and see what the problem is...." i said, and went in the direction of the kitchen "ill be back in a minute, just getting a quick snack"

Alex tapped her chin for a moment. "I guess I could do that. But I might come off as rude to them," she stated, more for herself than to Jake. She gives him an "are you serious" look before shaking her head. "I suppose you're right. It would ruin the fun of discovery if you give me everything," she tells him, "Heh. Looks like I got something to preoccupy me then." She thought over his offer about paper before nodding. "I think I'll take you up on that offer. I can guess that you won't let me near any computers any time soon, seeing how much trouble I can do with one. So I'll find myself bored often," she said, "You would be very stupid if you let me near any computers." Alex laughed really hard at what he said about the system. "How silly. To improve the system so that our classes may intermingle?" she scoffed. She crossed her arms and give him a condescending look. "You and I both know that the system needs to by DESTROYED not improved on. I think your history is a bit off, man," she shook her head, "In the past, there was no real caste system. Back then, it doesn't matter what type of family you were born in. Rich or poor, with hard work you earn what you sow. Waste your life away and you crumble. Everyone should be treated equally not specially. Everyone can go to school, get medical care, and don't worry about physical imperfections." She points a finger at him. "I want to be treated equal... not be able to intermingle," she told him. Alex got really heated up thinking about the caste system that she just starts quietly fuming. She calms down a bit when he talked about her family. "Well... that is good for now," she muttered. She studied the new person suspiciously. Her eyes quickly went up to Jake as he heard him talk to the other male. "Uh-! I am already uncomfortable. What the hell happened to Samantha?!" her eyes trailed back to James. "Hey! Come back!" she panicked slightly, looking to where Jake was going. Alex's eyes glance back at James. "What are you suppose to do?" she questioned him.

"calm down... hes just pissed cause his girlfriend left him for me because i kept calling her eyes beautiful...." James sighed, and showed her the chair "just sit down, remove your glasses, and look into this machine so it can tell me your perscription you need, as it may have changed, and then pick out a frame you want and then we will be done, your glasses will arrive in 3 days, and you probobly wont hear from me again..." he said simple, walking over to a machine "i feel bad for you, being brought into his little harem to keep him company... a job changer like him isnt fit to have girls around him as he does... and yet he barely talks to them, and all they do is talk about him behind his back.... i give it about 4 weeks before you decide you hate him and ignore him as well..." he said simply, turning his back to her to calibrate the machine, and as i walked in he fell silent, and i sighed "sorry about that, i was starving, i didnt get breakfast since i had to come pick you up..." i said, rubbing my neck and looking off to the side, taking a seat on my couch as i began eating a sandwich with an eye always on James

Alex looks at James slightly in shock. "That guy had a girlfriend?" she said in surprise, "Personally, it looks like he isn't interested nor does he look like he has the time for having a girlfriend." She relax a little bit, now knowing the last girl didn't get injured. "But, she just left him after being told a complement?" she said as she crossed her arms. Her eyebrows burrow as she thought deeply about this. "How shallow. If that was all it takes to sway that woman's heart, you did him a favor in revealing that fact," she said as she wave her hand dismissively. "Feel sorry for him," she stated. Alex took a seat and removed her glasses. She look towards the direction of where the voice was coming from. Everything was a blur for her. She had an annoyed look on her face as she listen to James talk. "Listening to you gossip gives me a nasty taste in my mouth," she tells him, "Don't you have anything better to talk about than speaking ill about your client?" Alex couldn't figure out why she is defending Jake like that. Though, from the time that they talked to each other, she could tell Jake isn't exactly a bad person just because of what job he has. Alex has been spending all her time to destroy the system. She'll just be encouraging it if she starts hating Jake because if his job. It just gets on her nerve when some one decide to slander behind a person's back. Just bad form. She put on her glasses once more when Jake walked into the room. She looks between him and James, finding it amusing how fast James would shut his mouth as soon as Jake walks in. Alex decided to form her words carefully."No problem in that but...." she trailed off before picking up again, "I don't want my eyes to be checked out by this guy. I don't think he deserve your money if he's going to talk behind your back." She decided to tell Jake what she heard come from James mouth. If anyone was talking behind her back, she would want to know. So, she was just giving Jake the same consideration, even if that means that James might her. Well, he probably does since she is in Slave Class. What's the difference to her?

"....." i pushed James out of the room after getting her perscription, and handed him his things, paid him, and shut the door on him and sighed "sorry, ive had alot on my mind, and meeting you has brought up alot of anxiety for me... i figured i could trust him to be civil after the fact i hadnt started a scene with them in the resturant i caught them in... i just asked if she was happier with him, she said yes, and i made my case, and left, all of it quiet..." i muttered, and motioned her over to a wall "come and pick out a pair of frames you like..." i said, the wall suddenly changing at my hand swiping down

Alex glance up to Jake, feeling sort of bad for him. She had her arms stuck to her side. She felt uncomfortable after all that and didn't know what to say. She was just quiet as she listen to him talk. "Anxiety?" she repeated after him. She search him with her eyes for a moment before looking to the ground. "I'm sorry," she said after moment, the only thing that she was able to come up with. She lifted her head slightly from the ground but not enough to make eye contact with him again. "You can talk to me about it, if you want," she told him, "I'm nothing good other than being an ear to listen." She raise her head and looked at him from the side. "I'll only do this for you, I can be your shoulder to cry on. If that is what you wish for," she told him. She looked at the array of frames on the wall with wonder. She never knew there were this many to choose from. She was conflicted with what she could choose. "I don't know which one is right for me," she admitted, "Maybe something that doesn't break easily?" She look at each one carefully. She finally point one out. "Maybe that black simple frame?" she said in an unsure manner.

".... Thank you... maybe one of these days, when i can actually organize my thoughts enough to do so, i will take you up on that offer... as for those frames, they look good on you...." i said with a smile, and made the order, and closed the application on teh wall, the frames going back down, and motioned to her "want some food before we work on your leg? it might be awhile..." i said honestly, heading towards the kitchen
