The Wizards Assistant closed

(I meant her rather violent reaction to the creepers. It kinda early in the morning to do so, at least in my opinion...)
"Uh, yeah..." I agreed, despite not understanding what she meant entirely by that.

"i ment show the male creepers to the female creepers... sorry, i woke up last night, hungry, and havent gotten to eat lately... figured youd need sleep for the travel back home!" i said with a slight tilt of my head, confused as to why she was so strange today

"Well, thanks. I really needed the sleep. But if you're still hungry, you can serve yourself some more, I'm less hungry than you....I think," I said, hiding a smile.

"... i dont think i can eat all of that, but i am damn sure gonna try, its some damn good food..." i said with a small smile

I laughed. "Then lets enjoy this damn fine meal!" I said with an even grander smile, and continued eating.

"THERE we go, now your happier!" i smiled, taking another bite

"So, we go straight home from here or do we mingle a bit, crowbar at hand?" I asked, to start conversation.

"would rather go back home, dont wanna watch over my shoulder... sides, i wanna learn more about you, dunno much about you, or your world..."

"Hm. I see. Guess ill pack my stuff after eating, then."

"already did it for you... might wanna make sure everything is there though..." i said with a smile

I nodded, finishing my meal and going to check.

".... so, feel like making an exit out of the not expected exits? such as a window?" i asked with a yawn, looking back toward the door, and the knife flew into my hand

"Ummmm...wouldnt that be a little dangerous?" I knew from experience that jumping- or flying- out a window and landing wrong was a very unpleasant experience.

"not with magic... we could easily float down, and no one would notice as the spell i place on the room would make it seem as though we walked out the door..."

"...I seriously have to get used to the idea that everything is easier with magic," I sighed to myself. "Well, then, window it is."

"want me to do it for you, or you want to try the advanced stuff now?" i asked, standing up

"Um...I'll try to learn it."

"atni votum is the spell, it uses air currents to lift you up and suspend you, while you are up, all you have to do is think of where you want to go, and it will do that... if it helps, just think of forward back, down up, and side to side..." i said, demonstrating as i said how to do it

"Okay... atni votum..." I stiffened suddenly when I felt myself lift inches from the ground. "...It....worked..." I said, surprised.

"no think simply the word Forward... it will cause you to drift forward at one speed, once more will double that speed to a slight jog, again to a sprint... remember, the energy required for this comes from you, so if you physically cant do that, you will be harmed... this is light enough of a fall that we will survive, but be slightly tired afterwords...."

"..." I willed myself to inch forward, still a bit wary. Then off to the right a bit. "Like so?"

"yes, but with a bit mroe conviction... you have to be confident if you want to stay aloft... for example, i am confident enough that i could walk accross a chasm and be fine with no bridge... your mind is the limitation to your inner strength... truely, you are a strong apprentice though... strongest ive ever had if i am thinking correctly... you shouldnt be able to cast that spell... i asked because i figured it would be the nicer thing to do..." I said, still a little shocked

"What!? Are you serious!?" I asked, surprised as well.

"Why would i lie?" i asked as i glided out the window and landed softly on the ground, waiting for her

I followed, landing beside her. "This is pretty awesome then..."
