Polar opposite

I sighed, relieved. I waited a bit before passing another note:'Good. Hope you get better soon.' I quickly went back to work, so the teacher wouldn't notice the note passing.

Reading the note, I glance one last look over to her and did my work when I wrote the paper again. Thanks, I hope so too...

Of course, school is very boring, so....
When the final bell rang, I was already ready to go. "Oh! I dont have your phone number! Can you give it to me? That way, if I get sick, I can contact you so you dont have to go to school."

Closing his eyes once more it wasn't long until class was over. When I was just about to get up, I heard the other. Turning my attention to I smiled and gave her my number. "Sure thing I suppose..Its nothing big anyways..." I said as I grab my bag.

"Thanks! See you later, get better soon!" I started heading home.
(I think it would be...friday by now?)

I looked at her and smiled, "Yeah later then..." Then took off home.

I went back to my house, but stayed in the window sill. My brothers were behind me, fighting for some reason. "We should go out and eat." I heard them stop. "Eat? What restaurant?" They both asked. "I dont know...Let me think..."

When I got home, I set my bag into the corner of my room and sat down. I could hear my father coming into the house as he thrashes the dishes onto the ground. I groan knowing that I hated for what he was doing. For one thing that I know is that I need to get out of the house immediately hating to see my father in that of a condition. Debating on what to do, I went out the house through the front door and decided to take a pleasant walk.

"Alright, Lissa and B.B. will be here soon." Me and My brothers stood outside the house. "Unless she ran out of gas money again." Anthony mumbled.
"She's always short on some sort of money. And she's an adult. How does she even keep B.B's custody?"
"You guys are 12, you dont understand." I told them.
"Hey! I didnt say anything!"
"You were thinking it, Alex. Something along those lines."
"Hey guys!" Lissa greeted us. She placed her hands on my brothers heads. "Im twice as old as you guys. I have twice the life experience. I know what im doing." B.B. tugged Lissa's dress. "Mommy, Im cold."
"You forgot to bring your own daughter a sweater. You really know what you're doing?" My brothers asked in sync.
"Uh..."
"Dont worry Lissa, you forgot her sweater at my house. I brought it." I put the sweater on B.B.
"..." Lissa turned to my snickering brothers. "You try being a single parent!"

As I walk, I thought about a lot of things. Then it hit me, I needed to find a job in order to get the latest skateboard that they were having. Sighing a bit I decided to stop by the park once more to think.

"I say we go to that one cafe that just opened." Lissa suggested.
"Its like 6 miles away. You want us to walk 6 miles?" My brothers asked.
"Yes?"
"Why dont we go to the restaurant thats like, two blocks away from the park?" I suggested.
"....kay." They all said.

Sitting on the swing I swung myself as I thought about a lot of things. Turning to look over to the street I hum a tune while taking another pain killer.

"Hey, look, he's back on the swing." Anthony noted as we passed by the park.
"Maybe thats where he does his thinking?" Alex suggested.
"Who is he? Your new boyfriend, Miki?" Lissa asked.
"No." I simply said.

Coming to a stop I noticed people walking past me. Seeing that they look familiar he caught sight of Miki. 'Who is she with? V I thought not sure at the moment.

I waived at him, before we all continued heading to the restaurant.

Seeing that it was her, I wave back at her.

"Youre not going to invite him to eat?"Lissa asked.
"You should!" My brothers added.
"Um..." I was actually worried that if Nathan saw us he'd get the wrong idea...

Getting up from where I sat I took one last look up at the sky. 'If I were to get into another fight I would surely regret it..." I thought and began walking away from the swings.

Anthony called out to him."Hey-"
"What are you doing!?" I interrupted.
"Inviting him. To eat. You dont want that?"
"Its not a very good idea..."

I thought I heard someine calling me but I decided not to hear them. Ever since the pairing I've been getting into a lot of trouble lately. I dont know why but for sure I know that it was her that's causing me to be like this. I hate it.

"He's ignoring us anyways..." Alex pointed out.
"Cmon, guys, Im starving!" Lissa complained.
"Yeah, we should get going..." I said.

As I walk I came to a stop and slowly glance over my shoulders to see that they were walking away. Tomorrow was the weekends already and I hated it. Nothing to do since I can't go anywhere else and I can't even ride my skateboard due to my shoulder. As I sigh, I sat down on an empty bench and stares out.

Dinner was great....
"I really wish you didnt run out of gas money, Lissa. We get out too late to walk." I said.
"Which is why im sleeping in your room!"
"Yay!" B.B. cheered.
"Whaat? But we barely fit in her room as is...and there's only one bed..." My brothers complained. They slept in my room, and we took turns on who used the bed. They would sleep in their room, But it was much harder to get to their room, since the door was glued shut, like my door.
"Well, you two will be gentlemen and will sleep on the floor." She said.
"WHAT!?"
"You guys, stop complaining." I said.
"B-"
"Stop."

It wasn't long until I got back home. I fixed my bed a little then looks up at the ceiling before dozing off to sleep. My mind was swirling around me, then the next thing I knew I fell into a deep sleep.

Sleeping is rather uneventful, so.....
B.B. and I had slept on the bed. My brothers had slept on the floor, and Lissa slept sitting in a chair. It was pretty neat, it looked like she had just closed her eyes, she was sitting up so straight in the chair. I woke up from my cell phone going off.
'Its Sat. Break? Lunch? Din? Movie?nythin?'
'Yeah, let me get ready.'
I was a bit uneasy, even though he was those people who always 'forget' about this things-probably the reason he always attacked any poor sucker I ended up walking next to in his presence. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, put on a black miniskirt, leggins, sneakers, and a blue and light orange checkered hoodie, which was reversable to a striped white and black hoodie. I started brushing my hair.
